Trixie & Katya

Trixie & Katya

2 жыл бұрын

The low hum of The Macarena wafts into your one-bedroom apartment, the source of the 90s earworm a vague mystery. Dusk is slowly dawning on the other side of the thin, sun-rotted curtains. Murder She Wrote is just concluding on The Hallmark Channel as you turn off a dusty lamp and grab a chilled Ensure from your mostly-empty refrigerator. After your wig is safely ensconced on a styrofoam bust on the vanity, you struggle to open your blood-pressure pills with arthritic fingers made all the more slippery with freshly-applied Bengay. As you down the pills with the vanilla-infused protein shake, your tight hip-flexor muscles cause you to groan as you turn off the bedside lamp and pull up the tattered electric blanket you inherited from your Great Aunt Bertha. You stare at the crack on the ceiling above your bed, tracing its growing path towards the yellowed chandelier. You begin to slowly drift off into a fitful slumber. The last thought within your grey matter is a quiet rumination that has become your new mantra: "So this is a drag queen at 40"...

K my grandma died from assisted dying at 101 and her death was the most powerful, dignified, peaceful, and beautiful thing our family has every experienced. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and at 100, she decided she didn’t want to go ahead with treatment. She empowered everyone that knew her to be their own agent. With her being born in 1919, she was so ahead of her time. I’m so proud of her, and so proud to talk about it.

If Katya happens to see your comment, I’m hijacking (and + visibility!) ) to ask if only one BP reading was taken? An accurate reading requires that the patient has been sitting with both feet on the ground and has done NOTHING (except be relaxed) for 5 mins beforehand. Any anxiety in general or ‘white coat syndrome’ can cause an elevated, and therefore inaccurate, reading.

I would never have believed it was NOT a woman being flayed alive, but I heard MUCH WORSE, more horrifying, more deathly screams while relaxing with some Peeno Greegio at my country cabin. All of a sudden it sounded like a woman had been picked up by a bear and ripped from neck to nads and was helpless in the murder. But friends who lived in different parts of the country hepped me: Mountain lions, and other wildlife, sometimes are out in the woods just screaming, and I mean SCREEECHING, their urgent horny desires into the trees looking for mates. Mating calls! You can even find some of these calls on YT. But while sitting in the dark in my tighty whities with a glass of wine I was SHOOKETH, Candace!

hi former starbucks partner here; if you drink a 24 oz decaf drip coffee, it’ll probably have 30-50 mg of caffeine. the only thing that makes it “decaf” is the fact that the beans are roasted for so much longer, they’ve burnt out MOST of the caffeine from the beans. This is why a dark roast has less caffeine than a light or medium roast :)
@ktsillin
@ktsillin 2 жыл бұрын

All of this is wrong…
@wowsers9923
@wowsers9923 2 жыл бұрын
@@ktsillin don't worry, this isn't really factual. Spantzz69 has gotten a bit mix up with his staff training manual I think. Before roasting coffee beans are green. Those beans destined to be decaf are steamed whilst still green, flushed with chemical solvents to remove the caffeine, rinsed to remove the solvent and then roasted. There is a Swiss water rinse decaf process as well, I assume it takes longer, I'm not entirely sure. During the roasting process moisture is removed from the beans therefore the longer the roast, the lighter the weight of the bean. So, if you have a handful of light roast beans and one of dark, the light roast handful will have more caffeine simply due to having more mass. Once it's ground down, it doesn't make much odds between them. The big caffeine differences come in how you brew your coffee. The longer the grind is exposed to water the more caffeine will be in the resulting coffee. Espresso is not exposed for long so, not the most amount of caffeine, drip brew filter or a press will amp the same bean as the exposure is longer! Right, hopefully I haven't muddled up any info here.
@wowsers9923
@wowsers9923 2 жыл бұрын
And there is a bit of caffeine in decaf. Kinda like sin you can only wash it all out if it's bathed in his blood rather than with solvents or water.

@@mallorykane2843 The ads are scripted. Creators can deviate a little bit from the script, but they have to hit the talking points. Sometimes you notice different creators reading the exact same script for the product or service. For betterhelp it's often "Is there anything interfering with your happiness?"
