Coyotes have long been one of my favorite animals even before I found this channel. One of the only large animals to increase in numbers since Europeans settled the west. They're very intelligent and adaptable creatures. I work at an airport in the middle of a city and coyotes often come on the airfield. Most people think they wandered in from the desert, but I can tell you for a fact these coyotes were born in the city and live here permanently. How do I know this? I've seen them lay down next to an active runway and take a nap while large loud jet aircraft arrive and depart. Not to mention I've seen a mother coyote with her pup that was so small it's couldn't have been more than a few weeks old. So, she gave birth to it nearby and didn't trek in from the desert. They're also bloody smart when we try to shoo them off the airfield. They know where are trucks can and can't go. So, instead of bolting they just maintain a distance from out trucks by going to areas they know we won't drive into. However, if I get out of my truck, then they'll run. Almost like they're thinking, "you're not going to bring that thing in here. Oh shit, but he can do it on foot."

I've never really been an animal person but for some reason i can't quit watching Tim, Weave, Duck, and all the other creatures he introduces. When do we find out if the coyote will have duck pups or if she went wild and found a mate of her own kind. Will she start showing closer to the arrival date or am i just missing it and she already is? If the pups are or aren't ducks will she hang around or will her wild instincts kick in to leave and form a pack of her own? All very intriguing stuff and I look forward to each new video to find out more. Thanks for sharing Tim!
