Those colors were gorgeous! The initial outcome was fabulous, the Little Wings. Please repeat this with (half) the paint so you aren’t forced to tilt. I wish I had those plastic sheets, with all that matching paint from the end, I’d have pressed the side gently onto cover the sides, without movement. Lovely picture!

Thanks Christy! Yes, you can get it on ebay. It takes about two weeks to get here (at least that is the way it was last fall; circumstances might have changed that though).

Gorgeous! I saw somewhere that Australian Floetrol is basically American FLOOD floetrol with a wood conditioner similar to minwax prestain added (wood conditioner is oily) ???

Yep... pretty much. Adding wood conditioner to US floetrol works good, pretty much just like the australian floetrol. Thank you!

I loved what you were doing, but I would love to see you with a plastic drop sheet. Catch those drips and keep them for another project, even wipe them onto another canvas, the waste would kill me. thanks from Australia

you arent using the baer tint anymore? I have gone through a s---load of white paint with this technique and dont get the same effects bc it must be the paint. What the heck is Australian floetrol? I see you arent using that wood conditioner stuff that you used with the white. (whatever it is- I have it in the other room)...I had horrible luck with that white on top...created indentations and was a totally different texture. So what recipe is this now??

Most of the artists who are doing this technique use less than half of the Primary Elements that you are using. This really worked for you, but I am just saying that you may be able to do this for 1/2 the cost of paints.

It's beautiful but do you always film from behind your back. It's a very bad angle with either your arm and hand blocking the view or when swiping your shoulder blocks it.
