plastic beach is more pop and chaotic demon days is more indie rock and spooky All gorillaz music is made by Damon Albarn, he was part of blur, a 90s britpop band, You can react to "morden life is rubbish", "blur" or "13"

Fire Coming Out Of The Monkeys head is actually about “grim events that occur when a covetous people crave the jewels inside a mountain near a tribe of innocents. It follows Demon Days‘ central theme of humankind’s destructive nature and is loosely based on the war for oil.”!

So regarding a DOOM/Gorillaz project: Demon Days was co-produced by Danger Mouse (one half of Gnarls Barkley). The closest thing you'll get to a full-length DOOM/Gorillaz collab would be DangerDOOM, which is a full-length collab between Danger Mouse and DOOM. It was presented by Adult Swim back in the day so there are a lot of dated cartoon references and cameos, but the thing is still full of bangers. Well worth a listen.

This was my first Gorillaz album and my favourite. The first 6 are incredible I agree, then it gets a little bit worse for me but there's still bangers littered in, then the ending is crazy, especially listening first time. If you listen to the album without pause, the transitions between the songs are awesome.

This entire album is absolute bangers. 0 skips on the entire album, true example of quality over quantity, albums like Humanz could have beent better of they focused more on the main songs and less pop chart topper songs. Kind of like Drakes Scorpio where its quantity over quality

Musically there's three main themes to Demon days, Hip hop(an extensions from the first album) Rock( different genres of rock) and electronic. There elements of Dub, funk and reggae.

Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey's Head is all about the lyrics, pay attention to them, don't just vibe lol As for El Mañana, that's a lot more lore-related and hits harder paired with the music video, especially if you know the story Gorillaz has been building for two decades now

Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head is about the war in Iraq and other topics relevant to the time period. Dirty Harry touches on a lot of the same themes as well.

Really enjoyed the video. The album was pretty idiosyncratic in a good way my favorite tracks were the first four as well as dare although that might just be personal preferences speaking as I am a fan of synth-pop. It absolutely did go downhill as the album went on I personally wish it had been a little shorter by at least four songs. to kind of trim it down. It might be an older album but older albums that age well are some of the best because they stand the test of time.
