God gave us free will so its not wrong saying I went and fixed my car! God is not going to will it to fix your car if your not going to get up in the morning and make it happen! Saying if its Gods will he will make it happen while i sleep in bed... NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. God does not promise your life will be flowing with success and prosperity thats Joel Hosten. God does not promise full healing that is Word of Faith and Bethel who say you be anointed with Power. It could be like Job where your life is a disaster and people dont see Christ in you! Did the people see Christ in Paul! They wanted to kill him! Same with Jesus they wanted to kill him! There was no Halo symbol or they would have crowned him King! Why cant a message be preached to Glorified God even when things fail and when our lives dont display Christ like qualities? I am sick and tired of hearing we need to reach some sort of higher spirituality to be accepted we need to climb put on Christ armor and climb! What is wrong with the preaching today is that most of us dont suffer lost dont suffer major battles that challenge our faith. So the preaching is about chasing these invisible spiritual illusion you just need more power of christ, sprinkle all these christian terms to make the person feel puffed up. Yes we need Christ in our lives but if some reason things are failing like Job its not because you just need to speak more Christ cause your too self focus. :( Sometimes i feel i need to shut off all these new thinking and just listen to sermon by John macarthur or even spurgeon and just listen to old time sermon that dont change the narrative and keep things the way they are. You dont need to always come up with some fancy narrative to get Christians to be better. Just preach what been preaching through the generation and let God do the work when it come to explain things about the bible. But when it comes to Apologetic then it can go to higher level to prove a point. Cause as i listen i feel i need to prove myself again but this time use God terms rather then I term. Does not change the meaning at all. It still all about you! :( Something explaining too much kills the text rather then letting scripture speak for it self. Feel so much more refreshing just reading the Psalm with out some spiritual Guru infusing some spiritual revelation on it like Bill Johnson. Just listening to John macarthur explaining it plan and simple helps. NOt we need MORE!!! We just need everything in Christ!!! We just need to be more spiritual like Paul! We, We, We! Raising unrealistic spiritual expectation. No need to hype it more change it so people get tickled. Just let Scripture be how it was and nothing more....and let scripture do the convicting. Cause when it comes out of Mens mouth it becomes a marathon or progress. And I am sick of it. :(

Paul was thankful and these days I don't hear thanking God for anything. I hear some people tell God what to do. I remember reading in the word God healed the 10 and only one came back to say thank you. Today I keep in mind to say thank you every day. Thank you father God.

What a great reminder that obedience is not a requirement of the gospel but the gospel produces obedience. Producing vs. requirement. Producing is Christ's work requirements are my work.

It's only taken me 9 years of studying scripture and listening to sermons every day to figure out that women are not allowed to preach but we can proclaim the gospel. I never knew there was a difference before. I learned it with this man of God today. Praise the Lord!

I love spreading the truth which is not always digestible , but come on now you gotta admit 9 years is a long time to learn a fact clearly revealed in scripture,it doesn’t take that long to learn one basic truth ,unless of course we are in denial specially when it doesn’t take 9 years to learn thou shalt not bare false witness,or thou shalt not commit adultery ,thous shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain,when something is plainly given ,it should be received plainly also,we don’t have to study what God says to do or not do,,we simply obey regardless to how our flesh feels about it….

@@James-hj2up Thank you James, but I believe you have already established that fact. However, time is not the same for all of us. If you never get around to the comparison of two things you thought were the same, it might take that long to hear it and respond. It's not how long it takes you to hear the truth that matters, it's whether or not you respond to it when you do hear it. That's where my excitement came from.

This is exactly what I keep reminding my parents. I tell them that we MUST say... God willing, we shall do this or that. She is so used to saying....God first. I keep telling her that the words of God does not say any of her words, in the contrary, it clearly states that we ought to say...IF GOD WILLS IT, WE SHALL DO THIS OR THAT.

A REAL MAN! Men around the world, listen…any woman will respect a strong man who doesn’t need to threaten, hit, force or demand anything. Strong men have power and authority and don’t have the need to demand our allegiance - their calm strength attracts people to himself, like Jesus.

I think that you are wrong. Because when a person decides to do good, it is done with the feeling and mentally to do it for the Lord God Almighty Jehovah Father to please him as he sees us whenever we do something that pleases him. He becomes very happy to see us when we do good with our thoughts, feelings, actions, words, and walk away from doing evil or continuing to sin against him. This is what we are call to do to please him who lives forever and is seating on his throne forever and ever. Amen!

I love you. You're so smart and insightful but what is it with you referring to yesterday or tomorrow or next week as "on yesterday such and such happened" or ON next week we'll be going more into this subject? On tomorrow? Nobody talks like that for a reason Voddie. It's improper speech. Please see this and think about it. I can't be the only one. I can't even listen to you as bad as I want to because everytime u say that I can't imagine how it ever happened more than once or why you choose to speak this way. I want to hear your message and I can't because u made up this language and it's intolerable from such an intelligent person to bear

Can you explain what we are going away trying to do things better? How about improving your life and being a better person of which everyone is doing? Is that wrong? Cause God gave us Free will and we are to choice to show more hospitality? Is that doing things on our own? I am a bit confused? Then the charismatic everything is God but too much focus on the experience and their theology become sloppy. There needs to be clarity of one talent to what God is doing in your life? Does God need to be doing anything in your life? How about if you die a beggar? Failed in life? Disabled? Does God need to be doing anything? Does he promise that? Or we just live the best we can and obey the best we can, constantly seeking pray! Even the Apostle Paul who was saturated still want to his death stilll had disagreement. This is just going to cause unrest and stress to those who are failing and not seeing any so called spiritual improvement??? Charsimatic will say your not born again or be baptize by the Holy Spirit. Its easier for preacher to say this is what we need to do, where they dont suffer lost or face a major crippling issue in their lives. They sit on their thrones speaking so skillfully with talent. Try being swat with diseases and not being able to support your family and live like the outcast then try speak boldly if it just we need to be fully saturated with Christ for a possible outcome? Keep it simple obey Gods Words and if your life is falling apart adding more new burden just wont help the situation. Its the same with charsimatic saying you need more faith man of your still in sin! More faith more pray! Have you been baptise in power by the Holy spirit? Do you speak in tongues? God gave us free will so its not wrong saying I went and fixed my car! God is not going to will it to fix your car if your not going to get in the morning and make it happen!
