He sacrificed his honor for her, which was his greatest achievement in his eyes, just to be a side dude. From his point of view, it's a deep betrayal to seduce him like that, destroy his honor (which may not be a big deal to some, but to him that his identity essentially), and then tell him to tag a long as a side dude - is a reason to go mad. Granted I don't expect Rhaenyra to just leave her Heritage as the next Queen of Westeros for him, but I understand why Cole would go crazy like that. Even him confessing to Alicent was just guilt eating him up.

Most folks idea of purity is none or very distorted.Cristen had an internal conflict about doing bad, giving in to Rhaenyra.Then this boyfriend comes in and is like i know u bang the princess i bang the prince we all rotten here.Cristen just snapped it was coming Rhaenyra said no,then more depravity and perspective of more of the same.

That's right... his honor and idea of purity were so important to him and Rhaenyra didn't know... in the same way he didn't know her well enough(14:34 irony when you think you know someone you don't know them well enough😅) the weight of that legacy especially the whole Aegon's dream responsibilities.... he proposed bc he was into her since the beginning, the tornament, but mostly bc of selfish reasons : he failed to see her true self (he probably put her on a pedestal) and failed to see this situation as a consequence of his own decision to sleep with her (he had all the time to refuse) ...well he felt guilty that's why he wanted to kill himself but he also wanted to reject it on someone else ...it came on Jeoffrey bc of the reasons you said but after that he went full on hating Rhae bc of Alicent : he was finding strength and justification... and salvation even.. in their commun cause I guess

The queen came in wearing her house colors, declaring for everyone there that she is a high tower. It is the first time since she married him did she is not wearing shades of rose or pink or red, which are his house colors she is wearing high tower colors, which is the color that burns in the high tower when they called her manners toward so she is making a huge in your face statement doing this

I really don't understand how people come to the conclusion Daemon went there to get rid of her. She legit did that shit to herself. . . He literally didn't say a word. He literally didn't even do anything but walk up slowly. She did all the talkin. She made the first move. She cause the horse to jump and fall on her. He then went to walk away. And she still couldn't stop. Then he put her out of her misery... Like .. girl... You committed accidental suicide

Not really, he was clearly trying to spook the horse from the beggining with his hand to fake an acident, he smelled of dragon since he rode on Caraxes so that wasn't hard to do. Rhea moved to defend herself when she realized Daemon's intentions. He didn't like her because she didn't put up with his crap and wasn't an enabler like Viserys was. Daemon went there to kill her because he wanted to get her out of the way to marry Rhaenyra. You gotta pay atention to the scene and stop trying to whitewash Daemon's character.
