Thoughts on Chojiro's more background roll he serves in the majority of the story and his past that we learn about with Yamamotto and his bankai? Will he have more screen time in the new anime?

I love bleach and everything but Chojiro is probably the most wasted character in bleach after Ukitake.

Chojiro had a bankai and was still pinpsmacked by Ryoka Ichigo and had his bankai revealed posthumously. Only Kubo can throw such levels of shade and disrespect

lets not make excuses here. the reason chojiro did nothing at all during the series was because kubo dropped the ball with his writing. To be fair Kubo had way too many characters to properly utilize them but come on. Only 1 lightning type zanpakuto and we get nothing from him. We got two ice based zanpakuto though. cool

Chojiro. I remember only as the guy that was one-shotted by Ichigo then one-shotted off screen and died.

Only character who's bankai had more screentime than him and then dies to set an example of death in the blood war only for Kubo to wuss out at the byakuya fan girls wanting him to live.

I always thought that the white cloth he has, was because he was the head lieutenant. Since Yama was captain commander my thought presses was the same as for Sasakibe.
