The bit with castling in game 4 reminded me of my own thought process when I'm playing online. If I the opponent loses the ability to castle: "Haha look at that dumb king who can't go anywhere. Hope he never gets a Shitflix documentary. World should understand this that Netflix sucks. They started good and created a culture that people call ''Netflix and Chill'' which is more about doing ''Netflix and Chill'' now rather than watching a quality production. I mean in a possible Magnus doc on Netflix, we might see that Magnus in fact is a transgender black Asian-African Norwegian and at the end of the doc they might mention about his little chess career.

Shoutout from the Faroe Islands your work is getting better and better. I'am very strong bridge player, I guess my Elo if converted from bridge to chess would be about 2650 to 2700. My first love was chess but I stoped playing when I, was 16 and took to playing bridge. I still love chess but I would not be above 1800 Elo that would be on a good Day now but my love for the game is still there. Levy the vids you keep uploading Day after Day that keep me hungry for more you are amazing bro. A fun fact, norway have the strongest chessplayer by a country mile but they also have the strongest bridge player in the world, I mean what are the odds? There are approx. the same number of chess players as there are bridge players. And the fact that Norway with it's 5,5 mil people top the list in chess and bridge just blows my mind🖤

An average GM has rating between 2.5-2.6k, an IM 2.4-2.5,an FM 2.3-2.4 and an SGM 2.7-2.8. So its natural that a SGM has a bigger gap than GM, than GM to IM since there is an extra 100 points of elo difference. Theoretically GM-FM and SGM-GM have an equal skill gap. Potentially even bigger because of the threshold of 2.7-2.8k (too few higher rated players). So yeah, there should be an official title for SGM since 2 titles seperate GM from FM. And honestly this makes it even more amazing that Magnus has been able to stay above 2850 the majority of his career even when almost nobody reaches 2.8k.

Hey levy, I’ve enjoyed your channel for a while now as someone who has never even played chess at all. I saw your interview with Lex the other day and that was awesome. I think you would do great with some sort of long form podcast. I would watch the shit out of that anyway dude
