I really hope the UI is as minimalistic as possible. Compass, map, or text on screen would just not feel like it's Gothic. And I also hope they get more diversity in the voice actors because from the trailer everyone just sounded bri'ish and in the original people had American accents mostly.

Great job! Minimalistic UI is suuuper duper important. I hope even during trading looting etc it will remain relatively small, because it was great that you didnt skip out of the world to some window menu but saw that the world around you keeps going as usual.

Currently playing Gothic 3 for the first time in my life and I gotta say, I really missed out when I was younger. It is an incredible game. And it's really surprising because I've heard that Gothic 2 is supposed to be better? It's so crazy to me that I have been getting such enjoyment out of a game so old, but here I am. I believe once I finish Gothic I will start on the Risen games. Excited for the remake!

It's cool that you've used the Gothic font around the beginning of the video. What I can see you doing with it to better separate it from the background is (a) simply giving it a little border around it or (b) having a little window quickly open and close like in the games. I think that the (a) option would work better on the long run and would be less bothersome to do everytime. Overall great video, compacted, straight to the point. I hope that you'll manage to keep making videos like this in the future and get the views that you deserve.

I liked the idea form Gothic 1 dark misteries where on Old mine there is another faction guarding the old mine Guards with different armour colour it feels like that complete that part of the game

I really hope if they show us gameplay. When we criticise or if we criticise, we're doing it out of passion and love for the game. We want this to succeed as much as they do. I hope they understand this. Minimalistic UI, combat, voice acting and atmosphere is so so important

I really hope that they'll keep every inch of the game the same but better + more. Keep like the eastereggs, item locations (mostly), add new stuff that was cut out/wasn't finished, etc, and I pray that the remake will have copy pasted dub from the pl version with maybe some new actors for new characters (if there will be any).

Well, there are ideas, how to make gothic remake and even Gothic II remake much better. This first remake, expanding it on that content, that Piranha never released, that would be just perfect idea! Yes, it can be expanded only to a certain degree, so it doesn´t clash with Gothic II story, but it is possible. When it comes to Gothic II remake, how about creating an expansion based on Returnings from that russian developer? And even some new expansion from Alkimia themselves. That way, everything, that Piranha could have created, would be finished now, which would finalize the whole mystery around Gothic series after so many years. And of course Gothic 3 remake would also make a sense, because the original could be much better. It lacks the mystery, that the rirst two parts have. If we are lucky, Gothic franchise will be complete one day and we could enjoy the full experience, that Piranha wasn´t able to deliver. We will see.

After all this time on Discord, I really want to know the real names of the people in Discord. I've never followed a Discord for so long, over 4 years. Is "Oni" worth it? Is "Landros" worth the cat guys? Kai Rosenkranz is seriously going into this Discord cave with his real name, where those who have been active for 5 years are all hiding behind anonymous cat GIFs.

All sweet talk, but let's not forget they released a collectors edition trailer before a gameplay trailer. one guy from old piranha bytes doesn't make up for the rest of the team, maybe if it wqs mike hoge sure. Anyway, maybe they are confident in their product, but unless it's a full gameplay footage, not a 2 minute trailer with clips of gameplay, i still won't trust them. Old as they are, old gothics are still great and i'd hapilly replay those than play a shit remake.

Guys, imagine fighting in old camp or orc temple with For Honor combat system. Seems loong, boring and counterintuitive? Yeah, those guys in Alkimia are adamant about this. It's srsly dealbraker for me but huh, hope I'm wrong. But for sure, no preorder.
