@@markg7213 this only applies when you’re not financially independent or “the man”. Yes it is relevant lol. She’ll never respect you if she sees you need her approval to spend YOUR money. How could she if she ultimately controls your money? It’s weakness, submission, and lack of options. ***Boost Pressure Correction*** - incorrect turbo boost pressure information was stated in the video. We were emailed nearly finalized Press Materials from Toyota Corporation before this press launch stating maximum turbo boost pressures of 40 and 41, respectively. We questioned the numbers, but could only refer to the documentation we received. A finalized Spec Sheet posted by Toyota has revealed revised max pressure numbers to be 25.2 PSI (Core Grade & Circuit Edition) and 26.3 PSI (MORIZO Edition). We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Sadly most dealerships will only get 4 or 5 for all of the 2023 model year, with one maybe being the Circuit Edition. Almost no dealerships with get the super high end trim given how rare those are. I took my GR Yaris to my local track in South Wales on a cold, wet February day earlier this year. Its a tight bumpy circuit, as used frequently by Mr Chris Harris, and the car was sublime. It completely embarrassed everything over car there that day, even racecars. The main problem with this car atleast for us NZers is that it’s expected to launch between 90-100k NZD. For that money, you can get 2017+ M3, Giulia quadrifoglio, Alfa 4C, focus RS, 1990s Honda NSX. For me personally, is special but not as special as these cars. I’d just buy an old NSX, or Alfa 4C which have such a different driving experience that you can’t get anywhere else and those cars will most likely retain higher resale value if taken care of than this.

If you find a Core at close to MSRP it's straight up the best option for a Hot Hatch (At least until the (FL5) Type R comes then we'll see but no matter what this will always be one of the greatest Hot Hatches of our era ❤️🔥)

"the one everybody wants"? Really? That's a NO from me. The entirety of the corolla GR's appeal to me is it has 4 doors and 4 (or 5) seats. That's what makes it exciting. Once it has only 2 seats.... Why aren't you buying something rear wheel drive without back doors?

@phattyhales

I suspect with what I imagine the options will cost the Core with the LSD option and then putting in aftermarket seats is going to be more expensive than just buying the Circuit in the first place. I also don't know that it needs a tune but I know everyone under the sun is probably going to tune them anyway. I just wonder how high strung this engine is out of the box and how well it will take to a tune over time.

Great Drive review as usual Boys!!!! Sounds EXACTLY like the Yaris GR I've had in my car market in Australia for a few years now. Though its AWD, its set-up for dogged understeer, and prevalent on the road as well. Yeah it's "drift" but the chassis doesn't like it! Essentially a FWD car with rear powered wheels, very much like Audi's Quattro setup.

Maybe you went out of your ways to specifically not mention any other car in comparison to this because you'll be having a comparison video in the next few weeks. However I personally would have liked to have heard at least a sentence or two at the end of the video discussing if either of you were more impressed than you expected or less impressed than you expected, or anything.
