What does it mean to be "at peace with God?" How does God offer unsaved sinners peace? How do many preachers across different denominations teach their people that they are NOT at peace with God?

Great teaching. Love the statement " Christs righteousness is imputed to me and my sins are imputed to Christ! What liberty! What peace!

That is the peace I have all day, knowing no matter badly I mess up during the day, I am not under divine condemnation or wrath.

Thank you! Thank you! Try preaching this in an IFB church. The pastor's head would explode. He'd go ballistic when you tell "his" church that tithing is not required.

Excellent teaching. I used to be under the teaching. the family of God is the inner circle this was complete. I could never leave this. But been in fellowship with God is outer circle This was co dependant on my daily confession of sin. They use 1 John 1:9 The so called christian bar of soap. I Could float in and out of the fellowship circle. Depending on how much I confess my sins. This was christian Religion at its finest. Thank God I am set FREE.

Some folks don't understand your humor. I do and appreciate it. Wifey and friend think maybe you are not kind enough to those you differ from. Catching flies with honey I guess. I never was much for catching flies either.

Brian, years ago a famous radio guy said that in order to demonstrate the absurdity of another's position, your presentation must be seemingly just as absurd. Pastor Steve's snark is just what the denominations and IFB types need to hear. (By the way, that radio guy was/is Rush Limbaugh. Still going after all these years.)

I was listening to another grace teacher who said the judgement seat was in fact the judgment of believers’ sins. Can you please explain why this is or isn’t the case?

He used Paul in his explanation. I’m not sure where he got it.

I do believe that we are at peace with God. But why did Paul command to deliver fornicators unto Satan (1. Cor 5:1-5)?

Good question. If you look at vs. 2, 9, & 11-13 it becomes clear that "deliver such an one to Satan" is Paul is instructing the church to put out from fellowship the folks who were not only engaging in fornication, but causing glorying in it. Their behavior was a detriment to right Grace doctrine (Tit 2:12) and not adorning truth. (Tit 2:10-11) Since they decided to walk according to the course of the world, (Eph 2:2) Paul's judgement was that they should go out in it. (Satan's territory) The fornicator is a brother, (2 Thes 3:14-15) so losing fellowship due to wrong choices should bring him to a change of mind (Gal 6:7-8) and help him have a better day at the judgment seat of Christ (I Cor 3:15) having spent his time building eternal things, rather than serving his flesh and libido.
