Hi Cullen - love your work! A question / comment for Black Magic - what about skin hue compression? For me this is one of the fundamental looks of film, but it's not in the tool. Also, it's not in the Colour Slicer, and it's not in the Face Refinement tool either. There seems to be lots of places were there are skin hue rotations, but no compression. Thanks!

The fact that they have cut the skin hue slice out of Red and Yellow makes the whole thing difficult to use. It would be more usable as an overlapping vector for offset. I think the solution for them is to have a "Preset node" within the node drop down (next to "Favorite LUTs"). There are always nuances with new controls and the gallery isn't the fastest tool as a node "library." I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of the new texture algorithms. I'm optimistic that they'll soon have a few more sliders and individual FX versions. Currently IMO, the Halation can ping slightly early, and the Film grain saturation feels a bit off.

This is not a proper Grade School, and not because it was on Monday, but... you can't have Rafa sound crystal clear with no audio issues whatsoever. That's too much for me to bear. 👽

Really interesting. Is there a preference on where FLC need to be on the tree? If I want to make ColorSlice or power window adjustments, is FLC better at the end like a Rec709 LUT, or is it simply down to preference?

Hey Owen! Since it is a look development tool, I would place it at the end of my node graph at the timeline level. The only thing I'd have after it would be my output transform.

Would love to know what colorspace the subtractive saturation in color slice and film look creator is - is it better than third party plugins, say, from Irridescent Color?

Is the curve on the 65mm or bleach bypass only avaialble with all the other presets? is there a way to pick "none" and then only add the basic film look curve. Or another way could you pick the bleach bypass preset and then apply the 65mm film look?

Wouldn’t hurt to turn up the volume of your videos… They are always a little low.
