Grading and Editing A GoPro Video in Davinci Resolve 17! [Make your gopro footage more cinematic!]
Hey and thanks for watching!
I put together a quick tutorial on some grading and editing a gopro video in davinci resolve! Ive learned some new things and changed some ways i edit so this is the most up to date version of my editing!

how do u convert the gopro footage to davinci mine is coming jerky

Davinci Resolve doesnt seem to like the files from my GoPro hero 10. It just freezes up and I have to force quit. Then I have to run the file through something like handbrake to make Davinci want to use it. Any tips on why this is happening?

Are u able to import the files into davinci resolve? I would try to use optimized media and see if that helps. Right click on the imported clips in the media pool and click optimize media.

it wont let me drag the gopro footage into the media, any reason?

It might be that you've accidently locked the timeline maybe? On the bottom left it should say [Video 1] [Audio 1] and there's a lock mark underneath each word. If that get's locked you won't be able to drag clips on to the timeline!
