I think you should probably discuss the millions of injuries the cubs have had when discussing why they are disappointing. They have 2 guys remaining on their bullpen, 2 guys hurt in their starting rotation, lost steele for a month, taillon for a month, lost belli twice, lost Swanson and hoerner for multiple weeks, lost seiya for a month. Just a brutal season on that front and they’ve had 18 blown saves! If they convert just 4 of those they are in the playoffs right now

Since May 9th the Astros have the best record in all of baseball at 38-22. During this ride it has felt amazing to watch them play, but yall are absolutely right to put them at C. They were expecting to be a near 100 win team but the first month nearly ruined them. They never even got better health wise, all of the key players are out and haven't come back. They will be very scary once they actually do become healthier, but recent news isn't looking to kind on that

How the hell do you put the Mets over the Cardinals 😂 they have one of the highest payrolls and barely tread water. Cardinals have been one of the best teams in baseball since Mother’s Day. Also, the run differential is kinda dumb reason to dock them, they had a couple games that Lynn, Mikolas and Gibson just had to wear to save the bullpen which have skewed the differential a lot- and the abundance of one run games they have won thanks to the bullpen just hasn’t made up the difference.

Great show guys. One suggestion, maybe just do it C+ and C minus, or A+ and a minus. Then you could really tier out the teams. Yuck them balls.

I would say this is really the first year the Tigers had any really hopes of being above .500 going into the year, and even then most people who followed the team knew we weren't of playoff caliber. There's clear talent on the roster, guys like Keith are really starting to shine. Skubal is a monster, Riley is hopefully our future star, and more pieces are starting to show (Perez, Malloy, Vilade). Biggest problem is our holes like ss and first are so bad that all we needed are some average MLB talents at the positions. Hopefully next season this team really adds and trys to make a push. Needs to start with cutting Baez (its so hard to watch). Overall though I'm having fun with this team, have been hot lately and maybe could show a strong second half, people need to start noting this team more. Never gonna have a ton of 30 homer guys thanks to the park, but if they can keep up the pitching and learn to create run opportunities this could become such a dynamic team!!!

I don’t think the Dbacks deserve to be a c tier finished strong in June and July, they have 3 wins from Gallen/Kelly/Monty/Erod combined for 32 starts, +17 run differential, 10th in wrc+ with Carrol having a down year l, Suarez non existent in first half, Thomas missed months, Moreno misses months, Perdomo missed months.

Fair list. Well argued. Only issue I have is the Reds love and continuing to “buy stock.” I get the excitement prior to the season especially in a muddy, dog fight of a slightly above to slightly below average division, but they aren’t winning. Second to last only because the Cubs have grossly underperformed. They’re built around probably the worst defensive middle infielder in the league, and they don’t win games. Time to admit that preseason Reds hype was misplaced and just accept that they’re still not that good.

As a Jay's fan, I don't think F adequately puts into perspective what a train wreck this team has been. At least the last couple seasons they won some games before showing their true colours in the playoffs, this year is just an embarrassment on all fronts. Front office and management should have been held accountable after no one would take responsibility for the Berrios move last season. No one was fired or even acknowledged it as their idea and now we're paying the piper. Also the immaturity and lack of cohesive approach at the plate shown from the players who should be leaders after the team traded valuable players because they thought the team was having too much fun, just to bring back the homerun jacket anyways?
