In this episode I discuss grading your marvel cards and things to consider before doing so. In addition to this video, I would also recommend sending in a small amount of cards to understand the how the grading process works before spending your money. I think it's a no brainer to wait for CGC/CSG to grade your Marvel cards (when they start, which sounds like is soonish). They already grade more cards than SGC and BGS combined and that is without grading Marvel, non-sports or oversized cards. Not to mention, they are the ebay authenticating company of choice. They are essentially the #2 company already and poised to more solidify that position if not take over #1 eventually. Plus nothing will look cooler than pairing your CGC comic slabs with CGS card slabs

sent a few 96 MM's to SGC, the slab is awesome. Didn't sell for as much as I had hoped though, fast turn around considering they were from Australia.

I have a few sets of Marvel - 1990, 1993, 1993 Masterpieces, 1994 Spider-Man - all of which have been in binders in sheets of 9. For that reason most of the cards have a slight bow to them, for that reason alone would that drastically lower the rating of the card, perhaps making them somewhat worthless? If so, would you recommend I put them in individual sleeves to see if that can flatten them out over the next few years? Thanks

Bought box of baseball cards at yard sell and found 200 1995 marvel fleer ultras xmen in a box. Know nothing about these things. Can you tell me the approx value. All are perfect in sleeves in a box. Help me.

Hi buddy I was curious I just got an old folder of 200+ marvel cards, all in perfect or close to perfect condition, and wondering what to do. I looked on ebay, and several of the cards I have are going for over $1,000, but it seems they might have been sitting on ebay for a long time. I was thinking of maybe going to a comic book store, but I feel like they might put the screws to me, and am scared to get ripped off. Do you at all offer a service, where I can maybe pay you to look at some picture of my cards. Maybe tell me don't waste my time getting these graded, and do get these graded. And maybe what I generally might look to get.

I bought all 3 to recently to see for myself what I liked and was super surprised at the results. PSA slabs looked and felt cheapest, the frosted look doesnt look great, label is feeling dated and size too compact. Sgc doesnt look great in photos but is very sharp up close, i plan to take these more serious in future. Becket is the the prettiest with the fully clear frame but I really hate that they sleeve the card before slabbing, it makes no sense and the wide baggy thing looks sloppy. I need to see cgc to compare but PSA is really not the future of the industry to me.

I personally do not care what's popular, grade with who you like, its your collection and money...I grade with CGC, SGC, BGS and I do not grade with PSA just because of upcharges but I do buy there slabs....I like to have a variety of slabs to sell because every collector has a preference...and I still make money, you just got to do your homework....keep collecting!!!

I have a 1994 Marvel Masterpieces Wolverine 137 Misprint. The original painting sold for $25k … what do I do with this one of one card? It’s coming back from psa grading this week I hope. It’s on step 7

Hey Michael, nice! I don’t think the original painting price is relevant in this scenario, but there are many collectors that hunt for these misprints. Best of the luck with the grade!
