Grafting techniques and methods you may use to graft dragon fruits
Why graft? With the vigorous rootstock, the grafted scion will grow faster and develop quicker.
We graft to take advantage of rootstock ex; root system, tolerance to insects, disease, cold or drought. To repair damage or saving the variety or propagation and or cloning, change varieties, growth, flowering and production speed.
Unfortunately, grafted dragon fruit may have a shorter lifespan compared to dragon fruit that was grown from seed.

What Graft in you Opinion takes the best and which type of graft do you prefer doing? My Favorite type of Graft... Cleft Graft

Since, I did it with young cuttings, yes.. but if its with matured ones, just a couple of days in the shade will do.

Grafting to a mature cutting which has established roots, the new griwth will take 6-8months to mature then it will bear fruit during fruiting season usually summer.

@@nicktv083 yes bunga ng grafted ay same lang, magiiba lng kapag na cross pollinate ng ibang variety. Kumbaga hybrid na sya kung itatanim mo yung buto ng bunga then graft to shorten the waiting time
