Hi Richard, in relation to the flavor and texture, what do you think of Phisical Grafity and Halley Comet, is similar to purple haze? Just this season I'm going to test Asunta 5.

Hi Richard, here in Italy of the 5 varieties you show in the video, only the Purple Haze is available. Could you tell me which pollens it can crossbreed with? Hybrydum, Condor, White Vietnamese, American Beauty, Halley's Comet, Physical Graffity, Thomson? I only have these available. Thank you.

For me physical graffiti just edges out purple haze. I find the flavor just a bit better and it gives me bigger fruits. Purple haze i enjoy best after it's been in the fridge a few days.

Please make a video on self sterile cross pollination. What pollens work well and what pollen doesnt work. Can you mix a bunch of different pollens together and use that to pollinate a bunch of different sterile varieties? Would you use Vietnam white pollen to pollinate sugar dragon to get bigger fruits from sugar dragon. can you use a sterile pollen variety to pollinate a self fertile to get bigger fruit? When you cross pollinate does it change the flavor?

You can pretty much use any pollen except the ones in the same lineage/family line

Hi Richard, whenever you have some free time, are you able to make a list of most majors varieties that are related, don’t care about the rare one, please share it to your followers, as a newbie there is too many hybrid, too many grafting, it’s hard to know who’s related to what and u hardly can find it online, please share your knowledge and expertise with us newbie, we get too excited to just see a flower and really don’t want to test and see if they are related or the pollen fail to except and have to wait for another year 😂, It be nice to have a list and know, thanks much appreciated

Hi, Richard! You have great dragon fruit varieties to show us as always. You said yours took 40-45 days to ripen, I was wondering if the temperature is a factor of ripening? I harvested mine in 55-60 days and they still seemed under-riped. My sugar dragon barely turned slightly red after 60 days. I live in north Cal. Any thought?
