I tried air laying up to 6 times on the same branch and it works. Instead of pruning my pear trees at the top i air layer every branch. I end up with hundreds of new pair trees that i sell on facebook market. This was stuff i used to cut off and toss in the trash. Now i get money for a tiny bit of easy work.

So awesome! I’m getting a starfruit in Florida to start doing this! I also have other rare trees I could air layer and make serious money. One being a rainbow eucalyptus, Jamaican cherrys Lychees. I do bonsai but am getting into fruit trees because they are so east to sell air layers

Anyone who thinks that how it can grow in just 3days,please what the video carefully. He is saying that after covering the branch with soil mix., we have keep it as it is for at least 2 weeks. So that a small amount of roots can grow. After 2 weeks ,we should cover it with black polythene so than the already grown small roots can grow very fast within 3 to 4 days.

Mahalo for sharing as I plan to use this for my air layering of my Momma Pua Kenikeni along with aloe as I just returned from Saipan as we took 10 cuttings from my tree and 4 Ti leave stalks and my son said the Ti leaves are grown as it started rooting in the hotel while we were in the mandatory 7-day quarantine vaxed or not everyone going there must commit to it. The Pua kenikeni was in a ziploc bag and wrapped with paper towel changed out every other day until we got to his house and was placed in water to keep it saturated. About a week later it was placed in rooting hormone and planted in a potting tray for continued growth. I advised him when I get home, I would perform an air layer and send him trees ready to be planted on this property. Stay blessed and I can't wait to see his trees as this tree was grown when we had our granddaughter living with us and I wanted to take her tree to their new place and have an extension of it here in Hawaii and there in Saipan. 28SEP21 to 21OCT21 went by so fast.

I did airlaying on 2 branches of my neem tree. Waited 40 days, cut yesterday. I found out-- --one branch just has roots started to grow out, not much. The cut part almost healed. -- The other branch, healed itself, i used aloe too, ha...i guess that helped. No roots grow out at all. I covered with aluminum foil The whole process. The soil is still very moist. First time practice this.😁
