One of the greatest songs of the 70's. Surely nobody can argue with that! Saw him live in 1978 with The Rumour and this was the last track they played. I've been to hundred's of gigs in my life but I can honestly say that the concert at Leicester De Montfort Hall that night is my top 5 of all time.

Just a fantastic performance. Graham is not afraid to pour it. Andrew Bodner on bass was flown in from an outer space disco club somewhere in the Milky Way. People who know Graham or have played with him say he is a terrific guy. Not sure how he could create this wonderful song and performance that is probably sadly ignored by most people.

So great to read all these comments. Went though life thinking I was the only one who loved Graham Parker and the Rumour.

Graham Parker pours it all out with more songwriting talent and conviction than most.

Great Rock. The Album Heat Treatment is still one of my favourites. Concise, rich of variety and without gimmicks.

Was an American college student spending Spring 1977 in England. This BBC show was recorded on March 17. Saw this tour with GP and the Rumour twice in Bristol(March 8) and Birmingham(March 24) with Southside Johnny/Jukes as the opening act. Amazing double bill. Tix were about $ 4 US. Those were the days.

Well I gave this a view and a favourite! I'm 24 but a huge music buff and I have staked out all the greats in the past but Graham is one 70s standout that I always have a special place for because he's so criminally obscure and therefore isn't cliche to love. Plus, you feel better digging someone when he's a relatively unknown commodity. Those who are old enough to remember him do, but other than that he's been written out of rock history while others, many lesser talents, endure in popularity.

Wouldn't matter, his talent is great and will always be unappreciated . Your talent in pretty good .. i remember your songs.

This is what happens when little pieces of perfection come together. Graham is one of the best singer/songwriter/performers ever. And, the Rumour fit together like a glove. I cannot get it through my head why such inferior bands become huge and these guys were never given a tiny bit of credit they deserve.

Saw them at Cloudlands Ballroom in Brisbane in 1980. It was Graham's birthday. Fantastic, happy, concert, with so much dancing that even the timber floor was rocking.

Whoa, fantastic! My elder daughter was just starting to toddle when this was broadcast on the Beeb. She was fascinated by the Parkerilla (she has great taste) and stood upright for so long, mesmerised, that we took a photograph of her in front of the TV

I like older EC stuff, but the guy could not play live well or keep songs in time. Graham parker can sit down with just a guitar and make it sound good.
