That could be my problem. I did everything the same as in the video, but at 30 laps, I would only get something over 800.000Cr (without clean race bonus)

With the clean race bonus and the fact that you can safely wallride the track without being penalized, you end up with a payout of 1.54 million every 17-18 minutes.

I wouldn't be surprised! To be fair, though, it did take them a few months to fully patch out the old Tomahawk X 600PP set-up.

@@fossilfueled27this might be harder for them to patch tho since it uses the garage vehicles as an opponent so unless they patch the vehicles gear ratios it might take them a while to figure out a solution like the old tomahawk 600 pp method that you mentioned, also I used to use the escudo v6 600 pp method for the Tokyo expressway, but I just sold it yesterday for the tomahawk, now this is my main method for making money

they cant really patch it though unless they just make it go by cars current PP lvl which even then wont change much.

@@AvBonzo First off u don't specifcally need the Abarth. The whole concept of the glitch is having a car that is low PP stock that can be engine swapped to become fast. So the Abarth 595 as the vid suggests is an example, u can do the Jeep Willy's with the Hellcat swap, u can do the Suzuki Cappuccino with the K20 swap or whatever swap it offers i forgot.. U can do the old 50s-60s VW Beetle or Samba Bus with the Porsche engine swap and such. Now, how to know if u have an engine swap available? First go to your garage and select one of the cars mentioned, then go to the menu at the bottom and select the "Tuning Parts" option next to "Gifts" in your garage. In the Tuning Parts menu you'd be able to see what engine swaps you have earned and if compatible to your car or not. Even other parts that you earn from roulettes are shown there and you can select whatever and move forward from there. Multiple videos available on these cars each with different tunes and methods so pick one and follow! REMARK: to earn most money from the glitch u need to have Gold medals on ALL circuit experiences of the TRACK you're driving on, being Daytona. Also, to find engine swaps, it's easier when you're level 50 where you can purchase them for any car through the auto shop. Hope this helps! Lmk if u have any other question(s).

Use what you got in the garage. I got the ZL1 Camaro and one of the Porsches. Detuned the Porsche and let the Camaro run. Sucks because it's all over the track but I ain't touching it. I only get like 74k but that's better than the Tokyo one wishing for a clean bonus

I did try it, but because the rubber band steers the car into the wall, having grippier front tyres creates more resistance and makes the car actually go slightly slower. Sports tyres are much better if you're not using rubber bands and doing this manually, though. You can go about 10 seconds faster per lap, making this even faster.

1988 Silvia Q's. No engine swaps required. Tuned up to 330bhp, it can easily do 180mph. It won't win as much money as the Abarth but it's a great option in the meantime. I'll be uploading a video in the next day or two on it.

Hard to say. I just had a bag of assorted bands to hand and found whichever suited best. Blu-tak/power-tak works too.

Any car with a high PP rating will give good payouts as long as you nerf the gear ratios, but the Tomahawk is the fastest car in the game, so gives the best payouts. Just use the car with the highest PP in your garage until you can afford a Tomahawk. Though the Tomahawk will pay itself back in 20 minutes.

Payouts are worse for 200 laps. After 26 laps the pay drops for each extra lap.

If you have no engine swaps, a good alternative is the Nissan Silvia Q's from 1988. Once tuned up, it can average 180mph, though the payouts are less, it's still more lucrative than the Tokyo 600PP race. I believe there's currently one in the used dealer.

@@vincefrommenton No. there has been an update for GT7 since this video released that reduced payouts for this method. I have another video featuring the Honda Beat with the new best method.

The payout is based on your car's PP rating when stock, so any car that has high tuning potential works well. Muscle cars are a good example because their stock tyres give them low PP ratings, but they can be tuned to crazy BHP outputs. Alternatively the Willys Jeep is in the lowest category (so highest payouts) and even without an engine swap it can still get around 200BHP, more than enough to win.

as long as you can go above the highest speed your opponent car can go! I endedup grinding with the jeep and a sylvia instead and got 350K. Saved up for vgt and now I get 1 mil race ( 26 laps)

Once you hit collector level 50, you can buy it. If not, any car that starts off slow but can be tuned heavily is viable. The Willys Jeep without an engine swap can get semi-decent power once tuned up. It's much slower than the K20 Abarth or Hellcat Jeep but it's still a good option for those who don't have the right engine swaps.

You can, but Daytona pays more for the same amount of time.

Are you turning into the wall too much? You only need to have the steering turned slightly too the right. Too much and you'll generate too much resistance.

@@Bladecutter I use a pretty weak band. I had a bag of assorted elastic bands and just found the right combination. Alternatively, you could use blu-tak/power-tak to wedge the analogue stick slightly to the right instead of a band.

Comfort soft fronts shouldn’t have enough bite to grind you to a halt.

@@fossilfueled27 i don't know what that means. Not such a huge gamer like I used to be. Got GT7 like a year ago. Played it for 2 hours and didn't touch it for almost a year. And now I can't put it down haha. I had it on the R/L3 buttons. And wedged on my end table. But it would go into the pit, middle of the track etc etc. Rubberbands are working really good. Not going over 100, but I'm getting the clean bonus. Having it propped up, I would always hit the other cars

@@burtmichaels2676 The rubber band is making your car turn quite far to the right which is why it can't get past 100. If you can use motion controls or something to wedge the analogue stick so it's turning more gently into the wall, it can go faster.

Stiffening the spring rate and lowering the ride height will help prevent the car pulling a wheelie. Longer gearing might also help.

I am doing it atm and it is 8 seconds per lap faster. For like 7 laps so about a minute saved.

​@GT_racing_by_Hidde the method shown is an afk method. Naturally it would be faster to drive it yourself. The advantage is you can set this up and go do something, make something to eat maybe even eat it, and it will be rewarding you with 1 mil credits.

@@fossilfueled27 I'm a collector level 50, I can swap engines, unfortunately I don't have a Honda Civic engine or another engine that fits an Abarth. The weakest car that was fitted with a different engine (RX7) was the Suzuki Capuccino. I don't have any matching engine for the Beetle, Samba and Jeep :( Is it possible to buy a Honda engine or is it only available in a draw?

@@GutCars Once you're level 50, you can buy them. If you have an Abarth 595, take it to GT Auto, where you would normally change oil, fit a widebody etc. Below it should be an option for an engine swap. Costs about 150k from memory. There is also a thread on the GTPlanet forum with a list of cars that have swaps available ("engine swap compatibility thread") if you ever wanted to find out.

You can, but the Abarth will be very slow. It can still win if the VGT cars have their gear ratios nerfed correctly, but it'll be much slower at earning money. An alternative is to use the 1988 Silvia S13 Q's currently in the used car dealer. It doesn't earn much money because it starts at a higher PP rating, but it can average 180mph once tuned up.

Apparently if you just restart the race after winning it doesnt count against the cars oil? Not 100% sure though.

I'm not sure, but when you go into settings after pressing retry, it seems to return the car to its original state before the race started, as if it never did the miles in the first place, so you never need to change the oil.

Have you completed circuit experience for Daytona? Completing it increases the payouts. It also sometimes won't give you the clean race bonus due to contact with AI opponents. This is rare though.

You need to be lvl 50 and have completed the circuit experience. I was level 50 but didn't do the circuit experience and got 700k, after finishing it, it went up to a million

Avoid hitting AI and avoid crossing the interior yellow line.

Get Circuit Experience trophies.

Completing circuit experience for this track gives a payout bonus.

The K20C engine can be bought once you hit level 50, from GT Auto where you get the widebody. The Abarth has a higher top speed due to being more aerodynamic, and being smaller, it's less likely to hit the AI cars. But, it's less stable.

Sometimes this does happen. Usually the Abarth is small enough to squeeze through the gap the AI cars leave but it works for me 9/10 times.

That''s not really how stick drift works. In terms of wear and tear, it's constant movement that gradually wears out the components, ie, moving it left to right, up down, etc, repeatedly. Not holding it in one place. Though the majority of stick drift is caused by contaminants (dust, dead skin, hairs, etc) getting inside the components and interfering with the potentiometers, which careful cleaning can resolve.

Don't even need the second rubber band for the joystick, I've got it going right now full wall ride with the bus and it's lapping them after 5 laps running 1:30 laps

Have you adjusted the gear ratios on the VGT car? That's the most important part of the set-up - the gear ratios limit the car's top speed.

Yeah I did. Also at the start my car pops a giant wheelie and almost wrecks. Every time. Not sure if they fixed it or I’m doing something wrong but I copied all the settings for both cars.

@@sbader7248 I can't say I know what the problem is with the VGTs. The gear ratios are supposed to limit the car's top speed, and lowering/stiffening the 595 helps with wheelies, but the best thing I can recommend is to gently accelerate up to speed before you pin the throttle and avoid hitting the wall hard when you set up the wall-ride.

Ok I figured it out I forgot to change the individual ratios of the vgt I just had the final drive changed. Works now 😁
