I'd put echo above omega due to experience. Omega is smart but too idealistic, she sometimes fails to weigh the risks and consequences of her requests expecting things to always go well.

I think this is a fair assessment of how Thrawn would rank them. I just wish the storywriters would give Echo more to do. A lot of the time you could remove him entirely from an episode and it really wouldn't effect anything.

My personal favorites are Tech (he is underrated as a pilot) and Hunter. However the BB story itself made Crosshair the baddest member because he was able to fight the entire squad by himself basically to a draw. Not sure any of the others can do that if you put them as an individual against the team. When is Echo going to get a (removable) hand attachment? How did Crosshair get that scar? I see the shape of it, but it would still be interesting imo.

The fact that Omega looks like a kid would be deceptive to anyone else except Thrawn. The very fact that she is with Clone Force 99, and carries a weapon, means there is more to her than her looks.

I wonder if all of the Bad Batch would have stayed with the Empire if they were placed under Thrawn's command, and not Tarkin's. Yes I know Thrawn wasn't there during the transition, but if the Bad Batch was sent to actually take on Separatist hold outs rather than the Saws fighters, and did so until Thrawn became a high enough ranking officer to have a commando squad under his personal command, then they may have been more willing to stay with the Empire. It's interesting to think about. What would happen in Rebels if Thrawn had the Bad Batch instead of his Death Troopers and Ruhk. And what would happen with Omega? Would the Kaminoins use her to make a new generation of clones? Or would the Empire still discard them?

Echo in my opinion is above Omega, though Omega is very tactful Echo also knows a lot about strategy or at least has some experience with it, Rex said he and Echo made a lot of his strategies and Rexwas ine if the best as Cody said, he has also proved many times to be very smart and tactful so for him to pick Echo to help him draw up strategies must mean echo is or had a good knowledge of strategy. Echo can also adapt to situations well and as said before is a survivor and Thrawn would likely see Echo's robotic hand as a useful tool or could use that to a bigger advantage. Echo's can hit targets just as good with his left hand than with his right and he hasn't had any difficulties with his robotic hand, not to mention its usefulness in many situations. Using his arm to deactivate droid forces, using it to course mayhem behind enemy lines, using it to break into high security buildings even using it as a melee weapon against the droids. Thrawn could see all these things as very useful and Echo having more experience than the rest of the Batch only makes him even better. He's got a droid arm, good left arm, tactifulness, experience, adaptability, loyalty, dependability and just because he was a reg means nothing, he got promoted to ARC trooper quickly, was one of Rex's closest and most reliable friends and at the end survived it all and is still going. That is why he should be higher than Omega.

I really hope that Thrawn is going to come back and that he isn't going to stay just another bad guy like what happened to him in Rebels.

you forgot Wrecker is an explosives expert and echo is part droid and a grate hacker, he can get info from computers much faster then tech can.

I like your assessment and I wouldn't change the ranking but some comments raise a valid point: Echo doesn't get enough love. Everyone but Rekker in the Batch is a good tactician, but Echo is a strategist, and his implants were designed to improve his logistical optimization skills which is a huge factor in military strategy. His specific knowledge of Republic protocols may be outdated, and not applicable to Imperial protocols, but he should be just as able to find flaws within them quickly once he has time to access them, and either exploit them as a rebel or fix them as part of Thrawn's team

I think Thrawn would rate Omega at 1 or 2. Omega may be idealistic but Thrawn would try to groom her into a leadership role. Test her tactical knowledge in combat situations, he did the same with Eli and Commodore Faro. He would also try to break that stubborn idealism Omega has by showing her the threats that exist in the unknown regions. If he can't convince her to support the empire then he would manipulate her into joining the Chiss Ascendency. I think Omega would only be a three if she was too stubborn to convert to Thrawn's way of thinking. I may not like Omega very much, but you can't deny her value as a military tactician.

OK so the one thing that I think that everybody overlooks with echo and this is not because I’m a fan of the character he has a full on slicers Rick he also has a computer back up for storage built for sidewalks, like the one that Lando‘s buddy has and echo is a hacker so if there’s a system to be gotten into he’s going to do it the other thing I think of the cartoon doesn’t really do is maybe that probe is detachable I don’t see why you couldn’t A inner changing hand and splicer probe I’m sure that that was what it was because budget for the episodes also echoes an arc trooper so he’s only one step down from commando training clone commando training not standard commando training

I feel like this ranking is all wrong, at least if Thrawn is half the genius people like to believe he is (which, in my opinion, he's grossly overrated). Crosshair would probably be at the bottom, having been unable to recognize his own weakness in leadership. Wrecker meanwhile would be much higher. True he's not a leader, but he generally doesn't pretend to be. His own failings are more a failing in the commanders to understand him and his strengths and weaknesses, and to adjust to them. Alternatively, I feel like this ranking and reasoning is a low-key way to say Thrawn isn't nearly as wise/intelligent as people believe him to be.

There’s one thing interesting about wreaker; when he’s under order 66 he demolished the entire team present, and Rex. The thing that usually holds him back is he’s stupid and clumsy usually, hence he doesn’t really make the most of his strength. On the flip side, Crosshairs pretty much is by far the most dangerous of the squad. I mean, the dude killed his entire squad in a heartbeat. Issue is he’s a massive arsehole who largely acts on his own merits and has a massive weak spot toward his own squad. If he was really about killing the bad batch he could’ve easily done so with much less fanfare. I generally agree with Hunter though. While his trait is really small compared to the others, he really does balance out the squads extreme excesses into an organised unit. He has a broader awareness that his compatriots lack.
