this reminds me of smth that happened to me. welcome to my rant. i liked this girl’s brother for a WHILE and she knew about it but she’d purposely try to make me feel bad by telling me when he’d be hanging out w a girl or saying that he’d NEVER like me. then when me and him finally started talking we didn’t tell her at first bc it wasn’t any of her business. she never tells me about all the guys she’s talking to. it doesn’t matter that they’re siblings bc she doesn’t talk to him EVER. and when we told her we wanted to hang she went CRAZY. she took it so personally and immediately was like “i’m never talking to you AGAIN.” she went to every single one of her friends (also mine) and started talking trash about me and now i have no friends bc no one ever asked for my side of the story. she said i went behind her back, which i didn’t bc i still told her and all we did was text and go to the mall one time. she kept telling me that he would cheat on me and that he only would see me as a friend. then she blocked me on everything. and what i don’t get is why she was so mad. me liking her brother she never interacts with has NOTHING to do w her but she made the entire situation about HER. she acted like we were both out to get her. and she was trying to tell me who i could and couldn’t date, same with him and that’s no fair. i hope y’all understand me

i think it's because it was going on behind her back. i know that when it happened the 1st time, she wasn't friends with Max nor was she with Hunter, but i feel that she could've at least told her and resolved the issue rather than keeping it behind her back. i know that it shouldn't be a "big deal", but it probably made her a bit uncomfortable and betrayed that Ginny didn't bring this up and let it happen twice. she might've stopped it at times, but it doesn't excuse the fact that she did it the second time while being friends with Max. Furthermore, Abby knew this happened, but avoided telling Max because of her break-up with Sophie to protect her from adding more negativity from what she's going through already and this probably made the situation worse. Ginny is not a bad person, she made mistakes, but no one should be hating on Hunter or Marcus. this was her first time having real friends and it could be hard for her to fully except her feelings and do the right thing which would be: letting her friend know and her partner know how she feels about another guy, not last minute. she was in the moment which is almost impossible to do it through stress revolving around hee family issues and relationships

I do agree with you but him with Padma was a pre low blow to begin with. And I feel added fuel to her fire to utilize hunter all the same. While he was dumb enough to keep stringing along Padma too. I was really proud of him when he did decide to end things with Padma and realized what he actually wanted before she could.. But then it was a total dumb, young guy move for him to call it a mistake like that in front of everyone. Ginny was harsh and extreme, at the end with him.. Especially. Considering how their relationship had grown on the low. I am definitely more team Marcus than Ginny. But I can see why each went the way they did. They both had dumb moments but you also need to factor in, these are high school kids. And all high school kids are like that. Too.

I only think if he would have been clear about her from the beginning she wouldnt have gone for Hunter. So it was his fault to complicate everything at the beginning. I don’t think Ginny ever technically cheated on Hunter anyways. The first time they hooked up, hunter and her weren’t together yet. The second time, they already fell out. I mean ig you can call the texts cheating if you want to but 🤷🏾‍♀️ cause it was just sexual talk. Not proffessing love
