Jeff is a beast. Many have slept on him. I have opened up for kid capri back in 01 and have followed him since the 90s and the man is an incredible dj. He keeps the crowd with him all night long. Look at these wack as djs now...cdj??? Are u kidding me. These are what real dj's came from

Word man. I got into hip hop in the mid 80's. For me, these guys plus the likes of DJ Cheese, Cash Money, AJ Scratch, DJ Allah Supreme and others are heroes of the game, plus of course the still-missed Scott la Rock. Respect to all from here in the UK.

Grandmaster flash inspired me to start DJ ING. I use to go to music plus with my $20 dollars my mom gave to me to buy 12 in records. I would buy run dmc gmf and furious five sugar hill gang Kurt's blow records .I still go and find and buy records to this day

some people tend to forget that grandmaster flash perfected scratching (after it was brought up by grand wizard theodore) and beat juggling so even though his scratching is not as good as everyone else without his pioneering we wouldn't of have these styles. so respect the man!

flash was not beat juggling-stop confusing back spinning a.k.a lopping with beat juggling.Flash did master the art of back spinning but he wasnt beat juggling.

Grandmaster flash is the best. He started super quick scratching. On time! All the time. Moreover: He wrote the programs that DJ's use know and in the past.....that mimic Flashes style and lighting fast quickness.

ive been around for alittle bit on the ones and twos and even though the grand master has created some things back in the day.jazzy jeff can put both of them under a table.he just has a original style that i like and this is coming from another veteran dj of 36 yrs.

Alright, so Flash is the originator, so you gotta love him, and Jazzy is a legend, and definetly one of the best (not forgetting Numark, Cut Chemist etc), and Capri is definetly a party DJ, cuz he interacts with the crowd, and gets em movin, but ya, probably not the best, but still really cool!

I remember when I first saw this as a kid on vh1. This showed me that a DJ could be a performer and not just someone playing other people's records. I had only known jazz from the fresh prince of Bel Air, and Kid capri from the intro of fat joes song, and grandmaster flash from the message. So this put them in another light.

In the 80's there was too many Great dj's.. DJ hurricane "Beastie boys" dj kla Boss "EPMD" dj Joe cooley "Rodney o & joe Cooley dj Mr. Mixx "2 live crew" dj magic "the Bass that ate Miami" dj Magic Mike "Drop the Bass" and too many to list.. All of them were GREAT

@djskizmarkey If u know the history of these "pioneer" DJs,You would understand that "good times" is Flash signature & anthem song that he made famous by cutting & scratching it back in the day.Its his Anthem!..study & do your homework on the great legendary DJs & pioneers..
