I love how Danya's pieces are so well coordinated, unlike mine where every piece has its own little world, indifferent of others, hung in the middle of the board sometimes

Is it really a Daniel Naroditsky video if he doesn’t mention attacking the opponents pawns with his pieces from a distance at least once

I think that there is one basic question that you can ask when it comes to considering trades in the middle game: "Does this trade remove an important attacker or defender?" Consider this question in regards to both sides and both pieces involved in the trade. Good trades remove key defenders from your opponent when you are attacking, and they remove key attackers when they are attacking. Bad trades give up your essential attacking piece for an opponents weaker defender or you give up a key defender for an opponent's unessential attacking piece

Two amazing and instructive games, especially the second one. Note the potential for early tactics, the prophylactic kingside pawn push that prevents the knight from entering (which would gain tempo and central control for white), the lack of eagerness to trade pieces after the bishop blunder to emphasize the power of development even in a winning position, the pawn storm whose primary purpose is to not only threaten the knight, but ultimately weaken the queenside structure, and ultimately the pawn push and piece sacrifice to lure the king out and successfully promote to a queen.

Disabling the alerts while playing the game is FANTASTIC .. More concentration and more time to explain .. with my respect to all the supporters but if you really want to support, you shouldn't wait for him to say thank you .. providing these videos is in fact his way of thanking the supports .. if the alerts are on then please subscribe and support while he is not playing because it will be much better for the viewers and for himself as well .. excellent videos .. keep up the good work!

This is the most instructive speed run on KZfaq! The format is just perfect and the content is so rich, what you do for chess is amazing. A real chess prophet: spreading good ideas and preach the right attitude :-)

Just want to say- this content as a whole must be worth thousands upon thousands. Like private coaching from a GM (who is unbelievably patient and eloquent as an educator). Appreciate it all so much!

As someone whose had a mostly surface level interest in chess his whole life, I love your stuff and the speed run specifically. You deserve every bit of the attention you've been getting online and more.
