Mostly kopites say scouse not English But I agree with what they think. I'm a Toffee, not a Tory. And as much as we all dislike liverpool fc we all should agree with scouse not English. Both Kopitea and Evertonions suffered in events like the thatcher government, the theiving scouser stereotype and Hillsborough etc. Just Forget the Norwegian wool banter when talking about this idea. We're the pride of Merseyside. Not the pride of England. But in the end of the day you can support who you want to support. But if you're a scouser and support man u or city. Then there's something strange going on.

Hmm..when I see Ball and Moore ..marvellous although felt bit outside looking in with most games played in London..it should be all over the country . I’m English through and through, proud to be English, very patriotic. But I’m a Villa fan first and foremost. I obviously want England to do well of course and I’ll go nuts for England. But club before country for me!

I think most big countries have that to an extent. Spain is an obvious example as many Barca fans openly cheer against the national team, but even here in Munich, there are Bavarians who don't cheer on Germany because they want Bavaria to be independent.
