I like it that Penang has kept it's charm.. mixing old businesses with new, hip and happening places.. it's very quaint. And Ailsa is really kelakar!

yes the Heritage buildings have been upgraded and refurbished well. These old pre war buildings have stayed intact for a century which is amazing.

Thanks so much! Oh I hope you will enjoy the old world charm of Penang. Most of the food I recommend here is less "touristy" and perhaps less famous lah. But I hope people will try because it is an "old school" taste which we must preserve.

bro! I understand isaac, before when i was younger i didnt care about wan tan mee, now i love wan tan mee. The plain flavours make it so that the chef has to do it perfectly to create a good wan tan mee. lol. imo

I totally get you bro... there are hundred of WTM stalls and each stall tastes just a little different from each other, something amazing when there are just a few ingredients in this dish! I think it is also comforting to eat it as it isn't spicy nor are there very strong flavours in it.

Can you get western meals at hawker centers. The meals look good in the video. Are the beef imported. Nice video for a change.

I think you can get Hainanese Western food quite easily at hawker centers... certainly their versions of chicken, lamb, pork chops and steaks. But they taste different, with the sauces. The beef at Emily's are imported Australian Black Angus or Wagyu, halal slaughtered.
