My friend, Tim from Missouri, a Military veteran,has been told that the Cancer he thought he beat has now moved to his lungs, spine, and back. They have given him 7 months. This man is a good man. Racoons are truly one of the most destructive creatures in the country. When I was a teenager we lived out in the country with chickens and they were a constant threat. They truly created havoc everywhere. The only thing that was worse was a chicken hawk. The racoons were fair game, but the hawk was a protected species. Let's hope that he never comes back, but if he thinks he's going to have a tasty chicken feast, he'll be back. You may need to expend a few freedom seeds on him. Praying that everything gets resolved by the time you have your procedures. We will all be praying that you are surrounded by all the right medical professionals as you go forward. We just want the best for you, and never forget that we love you both bunches! ❤️

My granddaughter,5 yr old, cooked with me everyday. She dragged the step stool everywhere to reach the table. One day I told her we were making zucchini brownies. She boldly proclaimed she hated zucchini and wouldn’t eat any. I said “no problem” so she mixed the batter and put them in the pan and finally into the oven. Well,as they were baking the aroma was heavenly. When they cooled off enough to take a taste, her eyes got BIG! She exclaimed...WHAT A GREAT WAY TO LEARN TO LIKE ZUCCHINI!!! ****😘Grandma knows good stuff😘**** “

Im about the same age as you two and I am so excited for the birth of my first grandchild! It's been touch-and-go for months but there's only about 9 weeks to go and things are looking good now. I can't wait to hear that first "Grandma" spoken to me. This little girl is going to be spoiled by me for sure, lol

My dad raised acres of pumpkins for a cannery in Ohio. When we picked them, we had two dump trucks to load. At the cannery you just dumped them in a bin in the ground and a conveyer took them inside. The pumpkins went through the cannery and came out as canned goods. Farmers could pick up the by products for their pigs. We gathered the pumpkins by hand, it was a beautiful site to see the beautiful orange ones piled high in the truck.

A raccoon killed my neighbors chickens. She was so upset and I am not sure if she has more chickens yet or not. Be safe and God bless you, your wife, and the entire Doss family. Praying for your entire family.

I have trapped 5 raccoons in the past week. We take them several miles away where they have a water source. Take my word for it the little ones are meaner than the bigger ones.

Here is one for you in your garden. Put panels. Up close to your vegetables or anything else Start training them to grow on the Panels. And you won't have to put cardboard down. They'll be free growing.

Sometimes you just have to let those comments go…

Grandpa. I lived at my mother’s for a couple of years when I was very sick. They lived in the country and their apt home was built on the end of the airplane hangar they had. They only had 1 bedroom, so I slept in an office inset into the hangar. We had raccoons and opossums galore. My step-dad would use humane traps to catch them and drive them about 7-8 miles to the small local airport and release them. He swore they always came back! He played that way for years with them. Your raccoon reminded me of that time in my life. Both my mom and step dad are gone now. This was a real feel-good memory for me!

Maybe close the garage at night??? Hold the kitties while the door closes, so they get used to the sound. They will adjust!

🎆🎇 Ralph when we got our farm in 1999, I had our horses out in the pasture. Unknown to us a couple across the street did an annual huge display of fireworks. (They had a crew of fire fighters and have a pond in the back of their property where they shot them off. Keeping everyone away from the area. So safety was definitely in the forefront.) Unfortunately the horses were totally spooked, kicking at each other and dangerous to handle. On top of that a huge thunder/lightening storm & pouring rain hit. In the dark I had to capture each of the horses and bring them into the barn. One of the horses did sustain a 10” diameter bruise to the left side of her chest, I assume she was kicked. The other 2 were nervous, but calmed down in their stalls, with hay & water available. I didn’t approach the neighbors kindly, which I regret, but they were very apologetic & notified me when doing it again. Over the years our town does a display, which is visible from our farm and the horses actually watch them and graze while in the pasture, they are totally desensitized to the noises and the displays. I’m fortunate that the horses and the different dogs we’ve had over the years can handle the fireworks without issue. Remember the animals will pick up our nervousness and react to that as much or more than the fireworks themselves. ❤️🇺🇸❤️🙏✝️ for all of the Doss family, 🙏 for the appointment and that you start to get the answers to all of your questions. I’ve already made a comment, but I just had to add this. I enjoy you both so much because you’re the same age as me and my husband. We’ve had one big fat male woodchuck, decimating, our vegetable garden and all my flower gardens for the last five years. He has a spouse and they’ve produced three children so now we’re up against five. Have a heart traps have not worked for the last few years. Now I’m getting out the 22. Chad would agree I’m sure!

Just love you all as I'm the same age and station in life. I wish I lived in the country and could have animals like you do. Was raised in the country on 32 acres which with an uncle with the family dairy farm and spent a lot of time on it. Miss those days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do people realize that goats can climb cliff faces that are almost vertical? 😂😂They will not get hurt on pallets. My very special neighbor ( who's 19 yr old son passed away last year from brain cancer) just came over to my door with a cake and a huge basket of flowers, I am so thankful for her. God bless.

Grandma and Grandpa, I had a cat that experienced that lump on her neck like mama kitty. It was actually a fly larvae that was eating its way out. My poor cat was going insane. Had to take her to the vet and he pulled it out.

Yes grandpa. You are so right!! I grew up on 15 acres and miss everything my pawpaw and dad did with the place. Animals, building our own little homestead. I love watching all the Doss family videos since we haven’t had animals since 1998 or so. My dad passed in March and I gave inherited 10 acres. My wish is to fix it up and get animals again. You all are such an inspiration and my motivation for getting back into the country. Love you guys!! Prayers for all your Drs and surgery coming up. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
