☕️❤️ My granny's absolutely favorite cheese cake recipe - we were always so excited when she baked it ❤️

Ingredients round baking pan Ø 26cm/10inches (the measurement “cup” is always approx. information, as the original recipe is in grams)
Dough:
200g (1½ cups) flour
80g (½ cup, little bit less) sugar
80g (¼ cup) margarine
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
Some breadcrumbs and margarine for the baking pan
Filling:
1kg (4 cups) low-fat quark/curd (alternatively low fat cream cheese)
250g (1¼ cups) sugar
4 eggs
2 packet vanilla powder (⅔ cup, 74g)
¾ cup oil (sunflower oil or similar)
450 ml (2 cups, can be a little bit less) milk
zest of 2 organic lemons
Instructions
1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough together in a bowl. I like to do it first with the hand mixer and then knead it with my hands.
2. Grease the round baking pan and sprinkle the bottom with breadcrumbs.
3. Spread the dough evenly in the spring baking pan.
4. Put all the ingredients for the filling in a bowl and mix well with the hand mixer (on a lower setting).
5. Now pour the filling over the dough.
6. I always lightly tap the edge to reduce bubbles and let it rest for about 20 minutes before I put it in the oven.
7. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan oven 180°C) and bake the cake for 1 hour. After 40 minutes, check how brown it is on the edge and, if necessary, place aluminum foil over the cake (but the aluminum foil should not touch the cake).
8. Then let the cake cool down thoroughly.
Please always remember that every oven is different, so the baking times can always vary slightly
