I still have no idea how these videos get so little views. This is the best content for learning sound design/synthsis I've found. Wish you the best and I'm looking foreward to new tutorials.

Given that it's such a niche subject, I'm actually impressed that the views are that high. The number of people in the world who know what granular synthesis is has to be quite small.

@@dannyboycinco And you have to consider the number of people who do make sounds but wouldn't know what granular is. Many are musicians who play keys and just know about making basic synth patches or whatever their keyboard supports, ie. waveforms, FM, subtractive, etc. We're a different species.

Can't thank you enough for this video. It got me up off the sofa and I fiddled around with a granular synth using my voice as an input which led to me effortlessly finishing a song. This was the spark of inspiration 😀

Great sound design! I have an idea/tip regarding the last technique, although it works for many others (like the drum one). Put a delay onto the sample, make it sound distinct enough, and then render and drop into Quanta. Samples with dynamic FX like delay give great effects. Also try: after rendering the delay-fxed sample, inverse it.

Number 10 definitely! I don't have Quanta, but Oi Grandad! can do something like it in this case: definitely a keeper. And number 2 would be second-favourite: I'm always a sucker for different ways of making pads from unlikely sources. And thanks for the inspiration to look more closely at the plugins I already have.
