Israel is making things very clear with Eygpt what they're plan is, Eygpt knows Israel is going to take Rafah & take out all Hamas they can. Israel doesn't want war with Eygpt, neither Eygpt with Israel, so things MUST be talked out beforehand. Absolutely NONE of these other Arab Nations want the Palestinians, take speaks volumes right there.

Obviously talks with Egypt are about the nearby border which is local to Rafah, so to prevent misunderstandings, commander types on both sides of the border NEED to discuss things prior to Israel getting close to that border. Nothing "Mysterious" about it. 1) If Enemies of Israel fire upon Israeli forces from the Egypt side of the border. 2) If Palestinian Refugees try to flee into Egypt from the Rafah region.

In mid February we began to see reports of Egypt building an enclosed area with high walls alongside the border. It was suggested that its purpose was to house an influx of Palestinian refugees in the event of an assault on Rafah. Egyptian officials and security officials told WSJ that the enclosure could house over 100,000 people but also said that Egypt would try to limit numbers to 50-60,000 if large numbers tried to flee the strip. They added that Palestinians would be barred from leaving the area unless leaving for another country and that travel restrictions in Northern Sinai would be tightened. Israel's foreign minister Katz said they would deal with Rafah after speaking with Egypt about it and that they would find a place which would not harm the Egyptians, that they would co-ordinate everything and not harm their interests. Sabry, an expert on the Sinai peninsula said Egypt has reinforced the border fence making it unbreachable unless it is blown up or opened deliberately. There is also the question of how to control numbers entering in such a scenario, particularly given as there are over a million people sheltering in Rafah, what happens to the others? Additionally who pays for and co-ordinates any food and medicine into this enclosure?

For Israel to return to the pre-1967 borders would mean that in some places Israel would have only 12 miles from the border to the sea...not a reasonable agreement seeing that 12 miles to defend is toward the north of Israel. Should Syria or Jordan attack with the more modern weapons and technology they now possess, Israel would be hard pressed to hold that 12 mile area from being overrun. Israel would suicidal to agree to such a demand.

The female commentator at the 6:52 to the 6:54 point in time of this video said that 34,000 Palestinians have been killed thus far during the conflict in the Gaza Strip. However, the commentator failed to mention that those figures are directly from the Hamas controlled Gaza Health Ministry. Thus, those reported figures can not be trusted.

Free Palestinians… open the Rafah border into Egypt. What choices did Israel have after that terrible massacre. Every country in the world would have responded the same way. I blame Hamas for what's going on in Gaza. The Billions that Hamas have they could have protected their people but instead they allowed them to become human shields and that is unforgivable.

While some details of the news are interesting do you think Israel (the core affected nation) is going to flash out it's plan of action for the Rafah offensive???? Who knows if USA and Israel are making any behind the scene deal for Egypt to earmark some area in Sinai to relocate Gazan Civilians at some beneficial economic deal for Egypt.
