Perhaps you can also make a video about Josef Matthias Hauer? He developed a different twelve-tone system (tropes I believe) a few years before Schoenberg.

Hey, can you do videos on classical music of different cultures other than that of the europeans, like the Japanese, Indian, Arabic, Egyptian etc.

I'd love to. The issue is that I've busied myself primarily in fulfilling the enormous number of requests I've gotten, and as you can see from lentovivace.com/requestqueue.html this list is dominated by European names. If you've got a few particular subjects you'd like to see added to the list, I'd be more than happy to add them.

Where did you get the information for this video? I'd love to study Obukhov further and I was wondering where some of the sources are, of the few that exist currently.

Unfortunately, for many of these older videos, I didn't save the links to my sources. I do usually try to find dissertations and theses around these composers, especially those for whom a published biography is absent. Google is actually pretty good at finding publicly-accessible PDFs of this kind-just use a few search terms like the composer, the word "analysis" and "filetype:pdf" to get started.

I ordered it through durand salabert via boosey & hawkes, it took 3 months to arrive, I'm almost certain that they did a reprint just for my order so you may be able to get one from there now

Could you do Bernard Herrmann? Underrated composer just because he devoted his career mostly to film scoring, but he also had a very important role in championing works by lesser known composers
