In this video, I just wanted to go over the brief history of the 66 equal end serpentine pattern, as made by GEC. I also wanted to talk about the new 2017 releases. I hope you find the video informative. Please let me now what you think down below.

Most informative and enjoyable video by someone who knows about these knives! I too went for the single-bladed GECs initially, but then also started to appreciate the two-bladed models. Are three blades too much? I'd have thought so, but now I've just ordered my first -a Tidioute #66 in Autumn Jigged Bone. Not easy to find, particularly here in the UK, but I'm looking forward to seeing how we get on!

Thank you, sir 🙏👊. Honestly, I do find myself truly using 2 blades, somewhat frequently. However, if I have 3 blades, I find myself rarely using the 3rd blade. That being said, if the 3rd blade doesn’t get in the way or hinder use 🤷‍♂️.

@@Alumapro23 True enough.The way I see it, the main blade is the main user, but those two particular secondaries give the option of a flat or a curved edge for smaller/more precise tasks, and as they're in congress on the same spring it shouldn't add much bulk or weight to the total.
