Hi Matti, great point you made about the BILLBOARD SIGNS being a great source of light. We need to take advantage of these light sources at night, they are everywhere. I really liked the Air B and B pictures especially that tall building that looked like a Rocket. Great variety Matti, thank you 😊

Thanks. There should be plenty to photograph in Stockholm and in the winter the whole day is low light photography😀 In the summer it's hard because you have to stay up until 1:00 to able to do low light photography for a little bit😀

Thank you for your effort.. It's disheartening to witness when individuals perpetuate myths. According to Matti, shooting in RAW is a must. A lot of photographers keep spreading this notion. Shooting in RAW could have its uses, but there's no need to do it constantly, particularly with today's powerful cameras. You can save your photos in HEIF format using the newest Sony cameras. When you shoot in RAW, it's because you want to put in a lot of work in post-processing. It's preferable not to shoot in RAW at all and to focus on improving your photographic abilities rather than attempting to hide your shortcomings in post-production. When deliberate artistic editing is in the works to accomplish a particular design goal, shooting in RAW becomes useful. Any other way would be a waste of time.
@mattisulanto
@mattisulanto Ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your opinion. Please, shoot jpeg or any format as long as you are happy with the results. I'm not quite there yet skill wise and I have to hide my shortcomings in post😀 By the way, don't hesitate to share a link for you online portfolio. Maybe I could learn by looking at your photos and some day lose my shortcomings and start shooting jpeg or HEIF😀

@@mattisulanto , It is illogical and religious to insist that you should ALWYAS shoot in RAW format. A pragmatic and imaginative mindset, prioritising innovation over religious dogma, is beneficial for staying healthy. The assertion that one should always photograph in RAW is akin to asserting that one should exclusively shoot in monochrome!
@mattisulanto
@mattisulanto Ай бұрын
@@INFOXlive That is your opinion and you are fully entitled to it. Like I said, the main thing is that you are happy with the results. I suppose you are not going to share any of those results with me? When people are passionate about something it would be nice to see what kind of photos they make.
@INFOXlive

Your statement in the video was: “…and if you shoot RAW, by the way YOU SHOULD ALWAYS shoot raw no matter you shoot…” 01:53. (FIN: sinun pitäisi aina) Should - indicates the obligation. Always - on all occasions, at all times; on every occasion, every time. If you mentioned that you prefer to always shoot raw, then this is just a personal preference. However, you are instructing the viewer to always capture images in raw format, regardless of their aim. In principle, your assertion is equivalent to this claim: you should only use a hammer, regardless of job or objective. The problem isn't your or someone else's personal preferences, but delivering erroneous advice. Otherwise, keep providing content; I hope it is encouraging to others.

@@blindsouris What I mean that it's easy to think you are getting plenty of great shots because it's so different from the usual western environment.
