This is Michael Hardy, who just goes by HARDY and has been writing in Nashville since 2018 has written hits such as Blake Shelton's "gods country " and 11 other #1 hits as well as over 167 songs most in the top 20 . it was FGL that encouraged him to record his own music his first debut single "rednecker" in 2020 he has been a hit ever since. and still writes a lot of songs for most of Nashville including several of Morgan wallen's songs.

NOOOOOOOOOOO are talking about a 100% different guy. The one who won American Idol is from Louisiana. THIS IS NOT HIM!!!! I HAPPEN TO LIVE ABOUT 15 MINUTES from his family home and town. I am in Mississippi and he is a great guy. His is ALOT MORE LIKE A KID ROCK.....OR JOHN RICH .....and you need to know THEIR BACK STORIES & THEM....ABSOLUTELY NOT A SELL OUT THUS HIS SONG!!!!! Yes he went to work as a songwriter in the industry BECAUSE THEY WANTED HIS MUSIC AND LYRICS BUT NOT HIM AND HIS CONTRACT WAS UP so he then is now free to BE INDEPENDENT. He has a degree in music production and some other stuff. He ACTUALLY WENT A VERY SMART WAY KINDA has now ended up like Nova Rockafellar (Tom MacDonald's GF) She basically had the same happen sorta to her. The Industry wants you to have THEIR LOOK AND BRAND EVEN THOUGH IT IS KINDA STRANGE BECAUSE IT'S YOUR LYRICS AND MUSIC THAT DREW THEIR ATTENTION IN THE 1ST PLACE. Makes 0 sense if you ask me. I was in the industry for awhile and learned ALOT and family there even now on all sides. There are SOME good ones out there BUT NO THIS IS MICHAEL Hardy and he goes STRICTLY BY HARDY. I HAVEN'T HEARD what happened to the Other guy even though I sorta know of him and saw BOTH HIS 1ST TIME AND 2ND and you see what all he had to do to win.......SAD!!!!!!
