Girl with the pink pants watching the Lexus. HA! As a child/teenager, we had a 1943 Ford truck with a flathead V8. That thing lasted forever. It even had a hole designed in the middle of the radiator where it could be started with a hand crank! The shift lever even had a squeeze handle to unlock the reverse gear. Fun memories!

You should include the Dodge designed 3.2 V6 found in its LH series cars such as the Intrepid. It put out 230 hp with NO turbocharger. When it first hit the market, it was the most powerful n/a V6 you could buy on a domestic brand. 4:26 - PS: everything in the engine bay that looks like gold IS gold. McLaren's engineers had so much trouble finding a metal that could withstand the BMW engine's heat that they gave up and plated the critical areas in real gold. They didn't use platinum because gold is actually cheaper and more plentiful than platinum!

Car manufacturers should research more into higher rpm naturally aspirated engines with cyclinder deactivation for fuel savings. This turbo I4 era is getting old..

People don't know how to drive NA engines, this is why they died. I have friends (definitely not car enthusiasts) who think my NA 140hp is slower than their 100hp diesel. Everyone nowadays just wants low RPM torque so they don't need to work through the gears...

Corvette C7 6.2 litre 460hp/465lb torque. 300lbs torque at just 1000rpm. I got 36mpg on the freeway with cylinder deactivation.

No Jaguar L6 DOHC No Alfa Romeo L4 DOHC No Alfa Romeo V6 DOHC No Lancia V4 DOHC No Ferrari Dino V6 DOHC No Ferrari V12 DOHC No Maserati L6 DOHC No Mercedes Benz V8 OHC No Porsche B6 OHC No Aston Martin L6 DOHC No Daimler V8 OHV Not even a Triumph L4 OHC, the first 16valve engine on a family car! ... When the engines listed above were being built, Honda still made lawn mowers and Toyota,,, who's Toyota? ... Something tells me the author of this videoclip is a pimply teenager who grew up un Mars bars and Play Station...
