@@shamekacalvan298 Yes Guyanese have dumplings. (The most basic Guyanese soup with chicken usually have dumplings) We have 2 different kinds of what could be called dumplings. Our regular dumpling are basic dumplings in soup,, like the dumplings she made here, without the green banana. We don't usually eat on the side like Jamaicans. Our regular dumplings are plain flour ones (what Jamaicans call Spinners)...are small roundish. We have another thing called Duff, which is big like the log one Debbie made here, and are made with baking powder and rises. Thats usually made with methem, but some people also make it when they do boil provisions. Sometimes people also sautee / fry after its cooked.... as Boil and Fry. It's also like what Debbie here said, people in the country side still cook food that city folks forgot about.

Ms. Debbie does D.J. Khaled know about you?! He's a major music producer in America, but travels to and loves everything Jamaica and we love him! You're culinary expertise and great personality will be a major hit with him and his family on his next vacation. You should be his personal chef for sure. You'd also get a bigger platform, while keeping him and his family fed very well.

Hi Ms Debbie! I love your energy & style of cooking - much love! We Haitians mostly cook our dumplings in with the peas/beans or with soup. I've never used green plantain when making dumplings, so I will have to give this a try. Sometimes I use cassava flour, & that makes a really good dumpling. How do you make yours with cassava?

You’re amazing. You have an awesome channel and I love your personality. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with so many people. My husband’s family is originally from Jamaica and he hasn’t been back. ( since he was 13 years old) He’s told me about many different dishes, drinks and candies that he misses from Jamaica. I often follow your instructions on how to prepare dishes for him and his folks and they ALL LOVE THE DISHES! I tell them I learned it from my Auntie Debs on KZfaq!❤️ lol Your blessing so many people with the knowledge that you share. My daughter can experience some culture through her food until we go to Jamaica and taste the real thing. (You know it’s hard to come across some of the ingredients here in the states.) Someone should sit down watch your videos and make a cookbook of all of your different recipes with your twists on everything! You’d make a killing selling those.
