"As you get older, you realize color is so much fun!" This is personally relatable. Growing up, and in my teens and early adulthood, I would always wear black. It was cool-looking, chic and was fit for almost any situation - I'd wear black to school, hanging out with friends, to a party, at a bar or even just an impromptu roadtrip with the gang. My mom was sick of me buying black clothes, she'd constantly remark I was going to a funeral everyday. However, I've started wearing more and more colors as I grew older, and though I'm not as 'far along on life' as Elizabeth is, I do get what she's saying. I've been wearing a lot of 'coffee shop' colors now - pastels, beige, white, green - and I never realized how fun it is to color-coordinate and match your clothes, and because I don't wear black-colored clothes as often, I've also developed a fondness and appreciation for when I DO wear black. I take the time to actually think about what I'm wearing, how it makes me feel and if I actually enjoy seeing myself in it as opposed to throwing it on just for the sake of it!

She's so lovely, I am recently experiencing the freedom of choosing the colors for myself. Since I was little I always dreamt to have my room orange and indigo, my two favourite colors. I've never had a more welcoming room in my life! I left all walls white expect for the one behind my bed which I painted with a deep blue. My doors and windows are light orange, and my bed throws are all blue, orange, yellow. Same for my pillows and plushies. It's still a work in progress but it gives me so much joy
