We finally got round to watching this last night - It was brilliant. So entertaining! Loved the bikes but yours did look heavy with all that kit on, Nico 🤣 I love how you both just embraced the hideous weather! Made me so happy when it cleared and you had some sunshine!! So sad about your shoe man 😂😭 Can't wait for the next episode! xox

Aghh thank you guys 🥰 I was basically head to toe covered in gear, thankfully it was electric. Shoe… I had already sorted new hiking boots so I think they were pissed at me 😂

Wow guys what a brilliant video , loved it from start to finish, the bikes look like a lot of fun, and nic i feel your pain having wet feet, tube of silicone drop shipped to a Amazon box and glue it together like the sleeping mat get it delivered on the fly, looking forward to the next video , take care both of you. best wishes.

We took 2 months off and KZfaq doesn't like it when you have time off so doesn't push you 🥲 I'm glad you got the notifications for part 2 though and thank you for tuning in ❤️ Honestly, it has been a very tough challenge and all I could think about was my warm cosy van 😂

I think with the bikes, it is only legal to use 250w power on the road and you have to pedal. However, as long as you are using a mode thG is road legal, you should be fine. It certainly doesnt sound like you were using the higher powered modes. My ebike has a throttle qhich is not road legal, but it is not activated normally, but can be used offroad. Great vlog once more, your first trip will be the hardest as you find out what works for you and what does not. I hope the bike thing is not a one off! Oh, and the bloke should always take the leaky airbed, we dont have all those inny outy bits (ref Red Dwarf) to make sleeping on the floor so uncomfortable.

Yeee haha, push bikes were going past us and with all the weight on it not sure they’d go mush faster anyway 😂. The bikes were so much fun, haven’t charged them since we’ve been back though as we are still recovering from the adventure 😁 Definitely not a one off, but always on the look out for different types of travel. When I heard the first bottle drop, I was willing to sacrifice it, but the second, I was glad Sam was there to rescue them. I’ve been chased by cows before so they’re not my cup of tea 😂

Your bikes are not road legal e-bikes in Britain so how are you doing this?

We kept the settings in a road legal mode 😊

Check your insurance carefully as there is no such thing as "road legal mode". The motor needs to be 250w or less,

The DfT even advised that "bikes sold in a power-restricting set-up, but the maximum motor power of which exceeded 250W or the powered maximum speed exceeded 15.5mph in another mode of use, were not compliant EAPCs and would therefore be treated as motor vehicles."
