Nintendo direct yesterday sure gave me plenty yummy meatballs to chew on. Very gratifying.

I've actually thought over Sword and Shield's story and forgive the long post but I was talking to some friends over the three big issues I had with the story and my thoughts on what I'd do to fix it so this is me just copying what I said to said friends. The three issues here are 1: We don't get an idea on pre-wishing star energy Galar, as far as we know it's been like this for a long time and things are just fine. 2: Macros Cosmos literally shows up at the end as the bad guys, if we learned of them earlier and got a sense that the company was doing some shady stuff then them holding Leon captive towards the end of the story would have more impact. 3: The energy crisis Rose informs us about will be a problem in a thousand years, that's a long ass time to come up with a solution that doesn't have to be done right away. For the first issue I'd have it so that we actually saw or hear about how Galar was like before Wishing Star energy was introduced by Macros Cosmos, Galar is based off of England which was the first country to get hit by the Industrial Revolution and as such got very adverse effects from rampant industrialization, this got so bad that the snow was coming down black with soot and ash. Hell we could even have it so that Rose lost his first pokemon from sickness due to this heavy pollution and pressed his company hard to replace all forms of energy with Wishing Star energy. The second issue, Macros Cosmos shows up at the end and is evil because reasons. In Hulbury we see some people wanting Rose's autograph and treating him the same people treat Leon, the Champion. CEO's rarely get this kind of treatment so we should be getting details on why some people would think Rose is such a great guy and why Macros Cosmos is so important to Galar. And then we can also start seeing some Macros Cosmos guys doing some shady stuff with Wishing Stars like taking more from a mine or shaking down people that lost the gym challenge for their Wishing Stars, basically what Bede was doing in the first part of the game but on a larger scale. And lastly the time limit, one thousand years to replace Wishing Star energy. I'm gonna go back to the rampant industrialization and pollution Galar could have had since like I said, if Rose had a personal lost that could help fuel his desire to prevent Galar from going back to pre-Wishing Star times. But if the time limit was instead 5-10 years then there would be more precedent and we can understand why Rose was so worried about it where as Leon, who is younger and may not even know how bad old Galar was, could still hold the point that it could wait one more day for the championship. Both are right but there's more pressure on what's going to happen because 5-10 years is well within the human scope as apposed to a thousand years. I'd also just entirely redo the post story to something else, running after Swordword and Shieldbert is just awful.

Yesterday's Nintendo Direct gave us a lot of good titles. Meanwhile, us Star Fox fans are starving!

I may not have gotten updates on Ace Combat 7 Deluxe Edition, but the Marvel vs Capcom Collection? Looking forward to seeing what the likes of Yipes, Max, Xavier Woods, Kenny Omega, Mena RD, and others will do with the content from MvC2.

The youtuber Zactoshi made his own version of Ash’s adventures in Sword and Shield/Galar and IMO his version is better than what the anime gave us. His version of Hop is an amazing character. Right now he’s doing another project called Ash in Paldea and so far he has delivered. I recommend any Pokemon fan to check his content out.

At least gen 6 anime did team flare better and actually almost succeeded

For me the pokemon is BIG game freak is not and becuase they don't have enough people working on one proyect it feels rush. In other words hire more people game freak or at least out source some of the develoment
