Brianna Quinn I was fortunate enough to have seen some of the episodes originally! Born in the late '60's I saw most if not all of the 5th season episodes in their original prime time run, while reruns of the earlier seasons were part of ABC"S daytime afternoon run. And like you i too was obsessed with this series.

You're absolutely right about the two girls. Season 4 Marcia was at her Peak; drop dead gorgeous and so smoking hot she literally glowed in the dark. But in Season 5 it seemed like she had lost a lot of weight and didn't really appear to be happy most of the time. At the same time Jan really blossomed. Though she was never really The Ugly Duckling she definitely became a beautiful swan.

I was thinking the exact same thing....Jan really looks amazing here and actually outdid Marcia. The outfit was perfect on her.

I have always loved this episode . And the ones with "Time to Change " and The Amateur Hour.

This was the first one that AIRED for season 5 but it was the 3rd one shot. They do air episodes out of order, according to when they actually shot it and it happens in many shows. The production code for this one is 097. Snow White and the Seven Bradys is technically the first episode of the season, since it's production code is 095. I originally thought the Cincinnati Kids was the first one taped in the summer of 1973 (because it aired in late November but it was clearly summer when they went to the park in Ohio and the show usually is in real-time) but it wasn't.

Yes, this is true actually! After years of flirtatious teasing and whatnot, they finally hooked up while filming the Hawaii episodes, but eventually they broke it off. There’s several articles on it since both Barry and Maureen wrote their own books with mentions of dating the other in it.
