Lyrics:
If I can feel you coming through all the static
Won’t you open up your hands
Fall into loose form
I’ve brought your echo along with me
Lucid I’m trailing behind
Familiar waves catch up with me now
Flesh and Earth be your holding cell
In time your stale rhythm will stall
Hands of space they pull you in line
Now we’re standing at the edge
Waiting for your sick release
New eyes are staring at your soul
Burning
If I can feel you coming through
All the static, won’t you open up your hands
Fall into loose form
Buried in a garden of sand
I can feel you coming through the static
Won’t you open up your hands
Fall into loose form
Falling
Now we’re standing at the edge
Waiting for your sick release
New eyes are staring at your soul
Reconcile with tongue and beasts
Floating heavy towards the sun
Held up in a hollow sky
Floating heavy towards the sun
Still can’t see the light
But I don’t wanna come back
I don’t wanna fall
No, I don’t wanna come back
Static hides it all
I searched forever for an answer, don’t you understand
Yet I’m still talking to myself and myself never ends
Caught me pleading for a meaning to your vicious plan
Yet I’m still talking to myself and myself never ends

The first time spotify randomly played this song for me it was like "uh, these guys sound really good wonder who they are?" then at 3:10 I was like "huh it's ending pretty fast but it's still a good song". Then 3:24 starts and 1 minute later my mind was blown. That ending is out of this world

Not sure if you heard em yet but I'm getting some groovy hardcore vibes from the new sleep token alb. Although sleep tokens TMBTE alb seem a bit more on the "groovy" or experimental side than just rock, so that'll come down to personal taste.
@jaspertandy
@jaspertandy 11 ай бұрын
@@GandalfTheSilver I've listened to Sleep Token a lot, and seen them a couple of times. I really like their heavier stuff but I'm not as much of a fan of the more rnb stuff. For groovy hardcore I'm more thinking of things like Every Time I Die, Johnny Booth, The Chariot, Norma Jean, that sort of thing. I think '68 has an interesting evolution of that sound (noticing a pattern?!) but sometimes I just want that riff! 😁
