Very nice dude, An'yo Kuro is a great character and its great seeing her get some recognition.

It’s nearly the end of 2019 and I find myself always coming back here to remind myself of the teachings and flaws of my teachers Draay and Kuro. This will always be my favorite video when it comes to star wars cuz these teachers learned from there mistakes and paved a path for the new generations especially Draay

To this day someone has to convince me that An’ya Kuro wasn’t on the level of a top tier council master. Hell, I see her as the third most powerful Jedi to survive the purge. Yes, I put her ahead of Shaak Ti

Wow... Just Wow!.... With the range of obscure, some almost unheard, yet staggeringly powerful force abilities, with absolute, and devastating, yet clinical prowess and control of all of them. A masterful, uniquely graceful use of such a exhausting lightsabre form, coupled with her ability to use underhanded mind games on her opponents, able to use that strength of the dark side, while completely free of it's corrupting nature. As she had no ambition, or attachment in which it could exploit. (think of what she could have accomplished, with even a fraction of Luke Skywalker's drive, or will. or the levels of carnage she could reap with an ounce of Anakin's ambition, or rage.) Able to to harness the force to seemingly keep her in high physical ability, and baffling levels of agility, and endurance near indefinitely. And even before being cut down, easily, and contently make the decision to realign her spirit to within the force itself. Almost as if she was now able to finally achieve a level of peace she could never have elsewhere. Essentially finally able to embrace the only love, friend, and companion she ever had. The Force itself which in a way was herself, as she was almost the living embodiment of the force. She was indeed returning home. All this makes me confident in saying, I believe she may very well be the most powerful Jedi to ever exist. It's just she was so one with the force. She was true balance of it. Able to use Light side powers like healing, along with dark side powers of deception like cloaking, and phasing. While never really being pulled in either direction as a result of the power. And thus, she never made any grand kills, or legendary acts of hubris. or heartbreaking demise, and redemption. That is what gets a jedi, or sith remembered as a 'Powerhouses' of the force (almost, in direct contrast to what the force itself is said to stand for) She lived a complete life in total balance with the force. She is the Greatest image of what being a true jedi actually requires.

Far and away your best video to date as far as I'm concerned friend, irrefutably in your top 3. The whole package was just perfectly done, the music, the editing, narration etc. You said you enjoyed this one more and it really shows. As ever I look forward to your next installment.

Agree with the whole verdict with one exception - An'ya Kuro had one more significant ally - her skill in manipulating emotions. Lucien was strong willed but as we saw, he could be broken or at least swayed. BTW: Make more videos about An'ya Kuro - I love jedi shadows and she is simply the embodiment of what a shadow should represent :)

I'm really glad that you made a character profile of Lucien before you did this versus, it made it much more enjoyable that I knew the character before watching. An'ya needs more recognition and I'm very happy you used her! This is probably my favorite versus videos you made so far. Keep up the amazing work!

I would love to see some non-force sensitive matchups. like a squad of 501st clones vs. a squad of Lok Revenants, or an Imperial Royal Guard vs. one of the bounty hunters

Omg I just realized this... Mace Windu's sword color makes perfect sense (even though he only has it because of request). His fighting style is very aggressive, almost as if he is teetering on the edge of the dark side. Half way between blue and red-purple.

Very good. I liked the passion that you placed into this video and how in-depth it was. I also find the concepts of the flawed mentor, whether it is the "extreme and/or unorthodox methods of teaching" variety or the "formerly evil" variety (for example, the mentor was a former dark lord who is now teaching the hero, as a way to atone him/herself).

I thoroughly enjoyed this matchup. Having just starting my exploration of the EU recently, it's nice to see more obscure characters used in these versus videos. Also, as someone mentioned previously, I'd never even imagined that a Jedi could use some of the powers implemented by An'ya Kuro; although I shouldn't be surprised that she was special. I had heard that those who yielded a purple light saber typically skirted the line between the light and dark side of the force and because of this exhibited unique abilities. I would be interested in learning of some other examples of this aside from Mace Windu if you or anyone else know of any without giving too many spoilers.

I'd really like to see a versus series with Teneb Kel. He may not be one of the strongest duelists, but he does not hesitate at an opening. Plus, he's one of the few to use the original style of Sith saberstaff (ie. Exar Kun).

This was really cool, I never knew the dark woman kicked so much ass. She really is a high level force user, not to mention she has the coolest powers I've ever seen a Jedi possess. I know you're already wokring on your next video but would you ever consider putting Jacen Solo(Darth Cadaes(can't spell it haha)) against one of the other big sith lords? Having him square off with Exar Kun, Revan, Palpatine, Vader, or Krayt would be really cool to see, though, i honestly would prefer some more obscure match ups. Lol, maybe you should have Lowbacca fight someone.

Interesting match up, nice change of pace from the usual heavy,,hitters and I've always been a fan of the Dark Woman. My only issue is with pitting her at the age when she died against a foe in their prime, but then it would have made for a more lopsided combat.
