RC3

I haven’t used that one before. What made you go with the RC3?

How was the gas on the hrt ?
@richardsonprecisiontrainin83658 ай бұрын
@@kdawag It wasn’t bad at all, probably because it’s a free flow can. It’s far better than the gas to the face you get running like a MK18 suppressed for sure

I have an HRT556 in jail right now. But i go get my visits in every so often. I find the dual lok system to be amazingly easy, reliable amd repeatable. The can has very little gas coming back, outstanding flash suppression, great tone and overall sound suppression. 100000% will be buying the new HRT762 model they released.

Just bought the Recce 5 on sale the other day. I bought two hunting cans last year and now I don't want to shoot anything loud. Now to buy an sbr barrel for it🎉

I love my HRT. I have a Dual-lok 5 & 7 as well. The HRT is a fantastic duty grade supressor. Low flash, tubed for excellent durability, and compact. The Dual-lok system is also phenomenal. I have swapped all my hun cans from rearden to Dual-lok.

Yes I agree, so far I’m very impressed and they are very durable also

Do you have a preference for the HRT or the Dual Lock 5? I'm contemplating them but can only afford one. Which one do yo like more?
@richardsonprecisiontrainin83653 ай бұрын
Oooo this is a tough one, there really is no wrong answer here. You may get slightly more noise reduction from the HRT but it won’t be a huge difference and ultimately will come down to budget and what you’re leaning toward most

@Cyberrat629 The Dual-lok 5 is a tad quieter and a little less weight. The HRT is a tank with phenomenal flash suppression and a bit higher backpressure. The HRT was recently picked up by the polish SF, some cool guy US Military units, and just completed a 20k torture test for the Brazilian special police. The HRT is definitely more of a duty grade can being tubed. However, the Dual-lok 5 is actually getting a gen 2 in the next week. I don't think they're even announcing it. The changes are just going to be rolled out. The DL5 is getting the m4sdl baffles for even better sound. Along with the new flashhider cap, which was debuted on the recce5k. For the average person, and with the new flashcap and baffles. I would say Dual-lok 5 all the way. However, the HRT is a phenomenal can for its size. Remember, it has one baffle less than the Dual-lok 5 and sounds basically the same. I'm actually going to buy the "gen 2" Dual-lok 5, and I have 2 HRTs. So, it says something about how much I like both. I also swapped all my hub cans to Dual-lok. The system is my favorite available. The secondary retention is ensuring the can isn't going anywhere. I was actually training in the rain. I slipped and fell forward. I slammed my HRT tip first into a rock with all my weight behind it. I thought the can would be damaged. It just had a scrape and worked fine. That secondary retention proved itself to me that day.

@@richardsonprecisiontrainin8365 I have shot both and was really impressed. I do lean towards the HRT I think but I like the more flow trough of the DL5. The price difference is close enough that either one is in the budget. Thanks for your reply.

Just ordered an HRT 556 straight from Griffin. It's going to be my first can and I'm really excited. Any tips for a new-to-suppressors shooter?

What's the maintenance look like on that hrt 556? And if you can't or can't service it what the service life on it?
