I bought an Optimus and have had it for over a year or so. I got it mostly because of Dustin Ellermans enthusiastic video of all the configurations. I know he was already a Revo fan. I love mine quickly and easily swap it from 5.56 to Blackout sub to 9mm... its a great 9mm can especially when shot with a little RemOil or low temp wire pulling gel (I live in Alaska). On 7.62 with the extension it sounds as good as any other 7.62 can I own and I have a few. Do remember to change the end cap when switching calibers... I goofed and shot Blackout with the .22 end cap on. Nothing bad happened, the Blackouts just made a bigger hole so I have another .22 end cap coming but honestly even with the .22 end cap being bigger than .22 the unit still sounds fine on 5.56. I like Rugged Suppressors Oculus .22 suppressor but will now have to get an Optimus Micro - it looks amazing and has more versatility.

Digging the new GP cans. I can't wait to hear numbers for them. Please meter them on different barrel lengths at the muzzle and ear. It's so much easier when you publish that data than when it has to be hunted down. I am really considering the GP can for a suppressed SBR that isn't an SBR that I can take on road trips without any bullshit paperwork.

Hmm... never thought about pin and welding a suppressor onto a shorter barrel.. can you disassemble it from the "muzzle" end of the suppressor? If so that's genius.

No. The cans are fully sealed and welded shut. Why would you want to disassemble it anyway? Serves no purpose at all. For centerfire rifle cans there is no need to clean the can as you would say a .22LR can.

What about new taper mounts?

Well I just found my first suppressor. It shoots 5.56 and .22? There we go.

Tyler Hussin I would double check to make sure your barrel length and rate of fire is covered. The ratings vary.
@ChairmanDDD6 жыл бұрын
its not full auto rated. and its only rated for 223/5.56 in 14.5" or longer. Don't expect to put this on a tiny 10.5" pistol and rock a CQB suppressed AR. Probably only get it if you really want a suppressor for your .22lr guns and happen to have an AR too.
