I hope you will expressed to your kids how absolutely brave that was to get up and sing and play in front of family. Performing in front of strangers you will never see again is one thing, but in front of family whose opinion you value takes so much courage. They should be very proud!

Retirement has changed him 🤣 just kidding he has always been a party guy. Since I was little I have heard him say that as soon he stops acting young he will get old. I don’t think he wants to get old 💜

The day our Grandsons came home from the hospital from being born, we took over a big tool box. We wrote on the bottom the dates and their name and sign ours. From then on every Christmas we have given them a tool to put in it. Let me tell you that it’s the first gift they want to open at our family Christmas party. The girls, 2 of them… received a new cookbook every Year…. One of the best traditions for our family…,

I had the video playing in my office and went into the kitchen to do something and started rocking out to the song and thought "That HAS to be Olivia!" came back and sure enough, it was her. Such a fast song and she nailed it!

Jennifer always does something so sweet with her grandchildren .. she has always great stories & she is so so thoughtful with her gifts for everyone … but especially with her grandchildren .. I just have my first grandson , I know I will never have that many grandchildren , but I can’t wait to do fun things like like your mom does 👍🏽💯👍🏽💯👍🏽💯❤️🙏🏽🇨🇦❤️🙏🏽🇨🇦

So tomorrow eve I will see my first grandson Beau open presents .. he’s only four months , but he definitely tore some already!!! Beyond blessed & excited🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️🎄❄️🇨🇦🙏🏽❤️🎄❄️

Loved your mom and dad's gifts for the boys. When I went into my very first apartment after graduating and getting a job, my dad bought a little toolbox like that and put girly decals on it, and put all the necessary tools in it. This was the fun part, he used all his excess tools and painted the handles orange. He had a little shop and it had everything in it. I loved that thing. Joel, buy some significant decals to distinguish which one of the boys they belong to. Even their names would be good. Your mom giving Olivia a recipe box was a cute idea. When my son graduated from college and got his own apartment, that was the first thing he wanted me to do for him, make a recipe box full of his favorite things I made. Your parents are definitely from the era that gifts need a purpose or have some sort of sentimental purpose to them, like the bells.
