Inspired by the Steak Florentine, I wanted to try my own twist with this classic Italian dish. Have some massive T-bone steaks, and will lather with olive oil and salt. Grilled over high heat till perfect, we will then baste with a herb truffle infused beef tallow. Finish off in the oven for an epic sear and we are done. So freakin delicious! The restaurant “I Latini” in Florence Italy was the best steak dinner I’ve ever had. Massive porterhouse cooked over wood fire

We usually grill one minute per side then place it standing on the base of its bone for about 10mins. The bone acts as a conductor for the heat to perfectly cook the core of the Fiorentina. Yours looks great!

Francesco I'm from Australia,only been to your backyard 3 times...not enough!! Had a brilliant Venetian steak in the hills of Tuscany,watched the chef trim it off the cured cut of beef,my mouth was watering already...such a beautiful marble glazed piece of beef. It was huge,served it on a large wooden square chopping board,which was perfect for the job ahead of me...Jesus,i had to dig deep and drop down a few gears to finish the whole thing!!!! When i finsihed it and only the white bone was left,all the waiters gathered around and applauded!!! I have eaten plenty of meat,worked in the restaurant game...and that was one of the best steaks i have ever eaten mate. Thanks so much for the great memories. Italy really agreed with me...So much history,culture,food and coffee...and really good beer to b enyoyed with incredible pizza. Whats not to like????

It’s a bit Smokey with a more mild tart and really juicy for when you don’t want the lemon to take over your food but instead keep a good balance. Try it
