Love the plane. That servo reset lets you use the auto pilot and dampeners. Trust me you want that. First few times I kept skipping (forgetting) that step and the plane was a pain. I had no idea about the helmet visor. As a sorta Milsim guy that had me chuckling. I will most definitely be using that.

Great to have a new CAP guide video - Can't help the "midair restart" might have been inspired by a recent video :-)! I'm not a milsim guy but it's great that they gave the startup checklist in the kneeboard - wish other modules did this!

Thanks Cap & I know I may be repeating myself, but I have a couple of suggestions for future competitions you could make videos of. 1) On the Channel map there are so many great pubs, so my idea is that you all have to complete a pub crawl. After landing in the nearest car park or suitable area beside the pub you each have to consume a "pint of beer" before taking off & landing at the next selected pub & the last person to successfully take off & land at the next establishment intact will be the winner. 2) Lanky pilot 77 has put out some great videos exploring the last few DCS maps in the "Combined arms" Willys jeep. While the physics are not perfect, I am thinking of a "Top Gear" type race from one side of one of the Marianas islands to the other.

I fly the f18E in MSFS ,took me a while to get landing right. Most critical part for me was getting air speed right and using speed brakes and not doing flaps until final approach. Great video mate.

You should help yourself with the "torche" light ON to manipulate the switches in the cockpit ( even the Torch light should need new batteries ... )

Hey Cap.....the F1 takes off with full flaps....retract to half at 200 and up at 250 then out of AB at 300. The LIM light in the pattern was because you lowered the flaps to full without the gear down and above the full flap speed of 225. Lower them to half anytime below 300. Gear below 240 then full flaps below 225. Fly 10 AOA on final and 12 (not really a flare) when over the numbers. Great tutorial as usual..

Tailstrikes is a mirage f1 tradition on landing. ADA Pilots used to try to scrape the exhaust on the runway on landings… until the brass put their feet down and forbade it because of the cost of the replacements

Flaps controls have changed. I set them like you have in the video but I’m still pitching up right after take off.

Just one thing, Cap, the word "MARCHE" is actually pronounced like the month "March" (which means pretty much "ON") .. if you pronounce it like you do, it alos exists but its the French for "market" ;)

Just so you can keep tabs on how horrible KZfaq is performing, I watch every video from GR, I comment almost always, I have never disliked a video, I have subbed and have the bell icon set to ALL and this video still didn't appear in my notifications nor did it appear in my recommended feed. I even changed my handle to the stupid Valued Humanoid thinking that may help. If I hadn't been perusing your home page, I would not have known you posted. Grr...

Hey when you use the "Auto start" feature... You have to manually do the Idle button thing it doesnt auotmatically do it so it seems, but why do you have to go full afterburner when taxing to get it moving ? it would be good to make this video more useful is if you covered how to get it taxing correctly if you just use the Auto start button cause clearly not everything is auto starting.

I really can't believe how trash is the in game tutorial for this plane. It's just so low effort, so not clear, and so just bad and not informative in general. Thank god you did this for people like me.
