Agree. Here is my suggestion. 1. 3 Qualified Judges 2. Scorecards for each of the 3 rounds. Each judge must declare a winner for each round or a draw. At the end of the round the scorecard for the round ending must be given to moderator. 3. After the 3rd round the moderator declares the winner from the scorecards or OT. The winner must be have the majority of rounds won on 2 of the 3 judges scorecards. This is the best judging system in my opinion. No more FREESTYLE judging!

Saurus third round double time is one of my favourite verses in the history of grindtime. Real Talk! The flow fucking shocked me the first time i watched it, plex and lush were like O_O

Thesaurus is ridiculous. His first verse, while written (as most Grind Time verses are) had sick flips as if Thesaurus anticipated what Storm would say before the battle even started. Sick.

Johnny got CURBSTOMPED!!! Thesaurus could have only spit one round and still have won, as this was one of his BEST PERFORMANCES! There was no "edging" anywhere! Thesaurus slaughtered this man in 3, OT should never have occured!! The judges are deaf.

Now too many GT dudes are trying to be Smack rappers, because URL get so many more views than GT/KOTD, and GT is more rewarding of street-oriented rappers and give them more chances. The problem is that rappers now put less emphasis on comedy and technique/rhyme patterns, and more emphasis on toughness. I think battling was in its prime between BOTB 4 in June 2009 and Grizzlemania 2 in September 2010, it's declined since then.

I see what you mean by it not making perfect sense and even noticed it myself when i first heard it, but he still conveyed his meaning pretty well to the audience although he didn't phrase it right. In the scheme he said that he left storm dead because he wasn't born for the rap game (with a pretty sick delivery). I prefer lines that make 100% sense, ofcourse, but that scheme is incredible. There are a handful of lines that don't make perfect sense like this from the world's best battlers.

The line about dizaster not leaving a scratch was about how controversial the out come was. It's all about style prefrence. This battle went to o.t. Stricktly because it was a good battle and nobody wanted it to end.
