The lines in this scene is absolutely hilarious!!! I loved the part where the Miss Landcaster said "I don't know, you would have to ask the kitchen." and "Is it still once a year?" I loved it when Phil flips out on that guy just a little bit. The best part was cut was when the song I Got You Babe is playing and then the radio guys start talking and Phil says "Same tape guys!"

He actually spent in the loop of Groundhog Day for 8 years, 8 months and 16 days, original he was supposed to be trapped in the loop for 10,000 years before reaching the last dimension meeting his official death, or more theoretically everything going back to normal but Phil not realising it’s the last day of the loop and may end up doing anything predictable, or if he’s lucky he’ll end seeing the next day, but the thing is it’s unknown what he would’ve done if he was trapped for 10,000 years but he stopped the cycle anyway so there you have it he’s free

Meh, it wouldn’t necessarily be so bad. You’d have enough time to read every book, watch every movie, see every show, play every video game, and more. With the internet you essentially have access to the entirety of human knowledge and entertainment if you know where to look, so it would be a long time before you get bored. Though granted if you were working on a bigger project you’d have to put it off indefinitely, since all progress would reset each day, which would be frustrating.

He was healthy, he had good job and money, he slept in nice warm bed and breakfast and and he even was able to getting laid if he wanted. Imagine if day repeated would have been when he was ill, had some bad stomach virus, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, no heating in room and not even running water in toilet . I think we all had days like that and that would have been horrible , horrible day to live thousands of times all over again.

Fair enough. But your argument implies that the movie must be then realistic. But then you could ask yourself, how many people are trapped in a single day? ... makes no sense. "I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you’re looking for a ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquire over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that will be the end of it. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, I will kill you." 😲😀

Our province is in a state of emergency for another 28 days because of Covid-19. I feel like I am living the same day over and over again like in the film Groundhog Day. This film is so underrated.

You know Groundhog Day is a term that says the same thing repeating over and over for the movie cuz that's what happened. Once something happened in the movie We're the same thing was broken and it changed that's the whole idea and that's what happened
