I remembered in my early days playing dota2, I got stuck in 1.8K mmr for months. Then I asked one of my friends (7.2K mmr at the time) how can I increase my mmr fast. He then proceeds to ask me about these various concepts in dota2, which mostly I answered with "what's that?" and "I don't know". After a while, he then wipe his forehead, took a long, deep breath, looked into my eyes, and said "just play NP and shove lane into enemy base. it's a brain-dead hero for brain-dead people anyway." Took the advice into my heart and 27 days later I reached 3K mmr.

The flipside is that now you're stuck at an MMR that you don't understand and you're 100% reliant on one hero. The real question should never be "how do I increase my MMR" but "how do I get better", gaining MMR follows naturally.

@@DrZaius3141 I actually learned more in that 27 days spamming NP than the rest of my playing hours before. I found that it's actually easier to learn something because you're winning than if your losing. I understand advanced mechanics faster, receive criticism better, adapt to the in-game situation smarter, started studying my replays, etc. In another word, my better mood actually helped me become a better gamer. Afterward, it took me about 8 weeks to reach 4k, another 13 weeks to reach 5k, and another 19 weeks to reach 6k.

@@KagirinaiYonaka It's also much better than just randomly playing random heroes doing random things! You have 1 character and 1 gameplan. Anything that goes wrong you can learn and adapt it into your next game because you're still using the same character and gameplan. It's not the "optimal" way to win in a vacuum, but we're humans and have limits. It's much better than failing the mechanical execution of a difficult hero like Storm Spirit 1 game, then never pulling as Pos 5 CM in the next, then coming to team fights before you've farmed enough item power spikes on AM in the 3rd game.

The team usually hate this because the pos 5 NP TRY's to do these shenanigans but ends up constantly feeding and not coming to team fights lol

@@Youmu_Konpaku_ Budok is still really good if he tryhard. There was just a recent event that Dendi organize for Ukraine cause and he's playing with a bunch of pros and caster and they all tried to win as hard as they can. Budok dominates that game.

My counter argument to feeding Treants is that even though they're worth next to nothing compared to a lane creep, you as pos 4 are supposed to leave the lane creeps for your offlaner to farm. So, killing treants is good and feeding them is bad.

This issue with this is just doing. At level 1 the tenants are actually pretty killable by quite a few heros who have decent nukes and or right clicks, but after that its just suicide for most supports. Even if you can kill the enemy treants as a support it's going to coat you more in regen to do so that you will ever earn, on top of that if you are killing trees then your core is either 1v1 or 1v2, and if you do make it back to actually do the support things you should be doing, you're beat up, out of mana, and you dont have the regen to give to your core. If you are playing the tree, obviously you should micro out of tower range, and attempt to not screw up the creep wave with your trees, but if you can just a click the enemy support with your little minions then it is absolutely the correct play

People hate NP because they can only see the value you create for them, not the value you create for the team. A pos 1 wants pos 5 to die with him and when people lose a clash, they don't want to see, how they could have played better, but who to blame it on and it is easy to just pick the one guy that wasn't with you. Even if the clash was 4v4 because you were distracting one of them. The higher your MMR gets the less people will cry when you picked NP, because people will not only understand mechanics and gameplay, but also strategies and the value some actions can create. A good example about this was to avoid sniping couriers. People only see the gold from a courier kill, but not the value from the ward.

People love hitting trees and get entire creep wave denied. I just keep sending more, ez game. I have thousands games on prophet myself and this is almost exactly how I play. And get huge dps items to kill single enemy inside one hex duration. Courier sniping isn't as fun anymore, back in day entire team had only one courier, it was extremely obnoxious to snipe them.

Well, he got 1.5 base attack time, that's same as terrorblade, so NP and terror are №3 by attack speed heroes in whole dota and you now build him more for ganks and fights

Bro, the Watchmen show is SUPER GREAT. Ppl who hate it is they are somehow "against" or offended by social justice. Period. Thins like changing ccharcs genders. Ppl get butthurt. Others might not like that much but do not hate it. Period. Movie was good for the time but commits a crime to change the ending from something amazing in the comics to something hollywoody-esque-like..

Position 5 is team save or hero tha makes force staff n ward and in gang fight almost all the time but no matter what pos u pick for np you'll be playing him like a core. That's y its better for a pos 3 or pos 2 np than pos 5

Pos 5 NP was meta for a long time just a few patches ago. In the last couple years he was meta as 3, 1 and 5. Never as 2. You're just speaking nonsense.

It has nothing to do with the comics. People who like the show do so out of spite of people that say "woke", while the people who say "woke" despise the show because it does indeed have a 'progressive' narrative. You'd hate it if the show had a conservative narrative. But this is all beside the fact that the TV show itself is so bad that Alan Moore himself said it was an 'embarrassment', or something along those lines.
